Priscilla's Paradise- A million dollar view!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at Priscilla's Paradise was excellent! We enjoyed the majestic view overlooking the Homer Spit. The house accommodated a large group and is beautifully designed. It was also kept very clean with comfortable beds. It far exceeded our expectations and made our stay in Homer one to remember! We loved it and would recommend! Can't wait until we can come back!

Aptly named

  • 5 of 5

This was our 4th year staying at Priscilla's Paradise and we hope to make 2019 our 5th. A stunning home with a beautiful view. Spacious and well appointed, especially the kitchen for cooking in. We are avid fishermen and cooks and this home has become one of the most anticipated parts of our annual trip. Mr. Thorsness is very responsive to questions or concerns which helps make your visit worry free. Thanks to the Thorsness family for sharing your parents' little piece of heaven.

Stunning View!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this charming home with a stunning view in Homer, Alaska. There was more than enough room for our family, and we really enjoyed preparing food in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen. Washing dishes was a pleasure while staring at the panoramic views of the bay. The location was perfect as we felt "away from it all" up the hill from the main road (it was so nice and quiet), but still a very short trek back into town and the famous Homer Spit. I would recommend this home to other travelers. Gorgeous!

It's all true about the view, the view the view!!

  • 5 of 5

The home is located a couple miles from Homer on the hill overlooking Homer Spit--it's very spacious to accommodate 8 adults. The kitchen was well stocked as was the entire house. The decor is from the 80's but well maintained and secondary to the view. Many guests have enjoyed this home. Homer is a cool fishing village with lots of shops restaurants and places to explore. We chartered a boat and went halibut fishing-a must do in Homer.

LOVE ALASKA-our 1st visit!!

PS: we tried to play music at the house-a turntable with great LPs but no speakers! No music available but tons of books and magazines about the area.

Also there are 2 apartments downstairs but the renters are locals and friendly and you would never know they are there-totally private quarters.

We were all happy with the location and accommodations, thanks Dan!!

Awesome view

  • 5 of 5

We had 8 adults staying in this beautiful home.We were worried about the space but it was large enough to handle all of us.

Large kitchen & dining area and bedrooms. Loved the hiking trail near the house. We will have great memories of our time in Homer.

Fantastic stay at house in Homer

  • 5 of 5

Almost everything about this house was perfect. The space was terrific. Very comfortable beds which is very important for us. The kitchen was very well stocked. But the most magnificent thing was our view. We loved sitting in the huge great room just to look out the window. The only issues were that the cable TV only had a few channels, not even the news channels. Also, the Wifi was not very strong and did not reach the bedrooms. I hated leaving Homer as this was truly the best accommodations we had during our 2 week stay in Alaska. Thank you, Daniel for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.
