Loved the house, very roomy, would love to come again, would love to see more bedroom furniture and lamps throughout the house, otherwise we loved it, Owner and Property Manager very helpful and always available. Great house, great area. Mitzi
The home was clean & great for large family's. I would definitely recommend this property. For the price & the location was close to great shopping also historic sites
The house was very suitable for what we needed. Roomy and acceptably clean.
One or two odd things - for the price, we were surprised to see the refrigerator door stuffed with personal food when we arrived. Owner answered all questions asked in a timely manner, but did not provide much information without being asked. But we got what we needed and would recommend this as long as you aren't a total neat freak. This was better for us than a hotel would have been. Thank you for making our out area wedding easier with a local place to stay and get ready.
Comfortable house with space for adults and kids. Three showers a plus.
After our wonderful stay in another property in Washington D.C., this was a serious let down. The town of Norristown was shocking when we exited the freeway. We have never seen so much trash all over the place, including church yard. The neighborhood where the house was located seemed fantastic compared to what we saw entering town. The house itself is large and poorly furnished. There are no lamps in the living room and only one end table. Two of the bedrooms have no table or dresser to put anything on and the beds were very poor. There were no lamps in any of the bedrooms except the master. Bed linens were a strange fabric and didn't feel like sheets. The air conditioner was inadequate for the second floor. Although the house is non smoking, the laundry/bathroom smelled of cigarettes. Under the sink were old cleaning rags and a dirty wet mop was in the utility closet with the broom. The kitchen is poorly laid out and not well stocked. Previous parties had left food in the cabinets and refrigerator that should have been removed. The two smoke alarms we saw did not work and one had no battery. The house smelled musty when entered. We suspect there may have been some mold in the house as several members of our family had serious allergy reactions. We would never recommend this property to anyone.
House was easy to locate and made us feel safe in the neighborhood. Beautiful back balcony overlooking a river. Rooms were clean and tidy. A few maintenance issues were noted and a note was left for owner. Hopefully they will be fixed before next tenant. We would definitely stay here again. Wished we would have known how to work fireplace.
