Lovely stay in the Upper Village

This lovely apartment was great for the two of us. It was very clean, exceptionally stocked and very comfortable. It was so nice not to have to purchase trash bags, foil, ziploc bags, plastic wrap and things like coffee filters! A personal favorite of mine is the water pressure and the extra fluffy towels! Of course, they are SO big, I didn't put over 3 in the washer at one time. The W/D is stackable and small, but even a small one is better when it is in the condo!

The heated floors in the bathrooms and the kitchen were awesome. The owner was very responsive to any questions and emails. Instructions for everything in the apartment were very clear and available. The ski in, ski out option was even easier than I anticipated and very welcome at the end of the day. The bus stop is right out front although it is a nice walk to and from the village if you prefer the exercise, which I did during the day. The entry area is designed perfectly for removing and storing skis and boots and there is even a glove dryer!

Probably the only things I would add to make it even more perfect would be a pitcher or two in the kitchen(we are southerners and the husband must have his sweet tea), more hooks in the main bathroom, some sort of privacy screen around the hot tub as it is rather near the street and the entrance to the complex and perhaps putting the twin beds up on risers which would allow for suitcase storage. This was not a problem for just the two of us, but might be an issue for those that would need to use this bedroom also.

PERFECT!

We had a fantastic stay. The space felt brand new and was spotless. We were able to cook meals every night with ease. We have stayed in the Village and actually found this setting to be quieter and more comfortable. It was easy to use the bus or ski out. Rachel quickly responded to any questions we had. Will definitely rent this unit again!

New Year Stay

We loved our stay at the property. The house was a five minute walk from the trail and a five minute drive to the village. We found the house perfect for our family of 4 and was warm and cozy after our cold days on the slopes. We would recommend this property and would love to stay here again sometime!

Fantastic location. Lovely home.

We stayed at this lovely home for just over a week and loved it (family of 4). The owner was very helpful and the home had everything you would need. The well equipped kitchen meant we could make lots of meals at home and the spa pool was bliss on the sore muscles (the spa seemed new and well maintained/serviced). The home was warm and quiet. The free shuttle bus to the village stops right outside the property which we used regularly or it was an easy 10-15 min walk. It was fantastic to be able to ski almost to the front door at the end of the day. Would definitely rent again.

Convenient, clean, great place

The condo is very nice, clean and looks and feels that it is well maintained. The website description is accurate and the owner accurately answered all questions. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, sheets, the kitchen was well stocked. It is close to a bus stop and is ski in (from Merlins). The owner was also very available. She responded promptly to all questions before and during our trip. She was availble by phone and email, provided great tips for how to use the condo, for getting around Whistler, for nearby restaurants, apres ski, etc. in Whistler. Everything worked as expected. We had a great time and would rent again from this owner. Thank you

Quaint & cozy with a great location for skiers & snow boarders.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in condo 31. It was just what we were hoping for. The heated flooring in both bathrooms was great. Now my wife wants me to install heated flooring in our bathroom! Anyway, we have rented through VRBO several times and we both agreed that this was the most well equipped condo we have stayed at. From the silverware, knives, condiments, & dura flame logs. The washer & dryer were fabulous! We enjoyed the hot tub a few times after boarding & it was fabulous! We also found the path above our unit to where we could board almost back to our parking lot. I think it was between units 16 & 17....we found it super handy for on & off the mountain. Just a two minute walk to the mountain, pop on your equipment and slide down two hundred yards to the lift. Rachel was super easy to work with and had some great suggestions for restaurants in the village. We would definitely rent this condo again on our next trip to Whistler. Just a few tips: Definitely check out Merlins bar on Friday for the apres ski. Great local band who blew us away!!! for an amazing Italian dinner try Trattoria Di Umberto, a little noisy but the food is authentic! The Rimrock cafe was amazing if you like sea food. Araxi was probably our favorite restaurant....especially if you like Oysters! Oh, and for Sushi we went to Nagomi Sushi and it was fabulous!!!!
