Brilliant location, accommodation, people -Fleur does a fantastic job.
See above plus feeding animals-my grand daughter loved it was superb.
Owners were brilliant and their advice on where to go was second to none!
The farm is gorgeous and everyone there was extremely welcoming and friendly, nowhere was off limits we could explore and see the animals whenever we wanted too.
The cottage was stunning, plenty of space, lovely and warm and very clean. When we arrived there was a welcome hamper on the table with tea, coffee, biscuits, some crisps, a bottle of prosecco and 2 scones with cream and jam which was such a lovely welcome after a very long drive! They provided toilet roll, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets, even herbs for cooking!
Genuinely lovely stay in a beautiful setting, will definitely be returning!
beautiful barn in an idyllic location
The willows at Pollaughan was everything we needed for a weeks stay over Feb half term. It was clean and tidy, and the view from the window out onto the garden and nature pond was just idyllic. The children enjoyed exploring the farm and playing on the trampolines. Pollaughan is in a great location for exploring the Roseland and there is a footpath which takes you to nearby Rosevine and the beach. We would definitely recommend the Willows and hope to stay there again soon.
Portscatho and its neighbouring village of Gerrans are located on the eastern coast of the Roseland Peninsula, Cornwall, overlooking the dramatic Gerrans Bay. A truly peaceful waterside village, Portscatho is a lovely place for a holiday. There are miles of coastal and countryside footpaths to explore, particularly along St Anthony's Head. Portscatho was once a busy fishing harbour, but now it has become a haven for artists due to the striking light which is particularly good in the morning sun. More than anything, Portscatho is a relaxing place. The beaches such as Porthcurnick, Towan and Porthbeor are simply idyllic and these are only minutes from the village. With a superb local butchers shop, 2 great little pubs and a well stocked local store, Portscatho and Gerrans are a lovely place to spend a holiday.
