Welcome to Copper Condo 505! Thank you for checking us out!

Copper Condo 505 is an ideal place to get away from the heat of the city and relax amid the aspens and evergreens. Our Telemark Lodge condo is an ideal place to make your base camp while enjoying all of the Spring and Summer activities of Summit County. We are right in the middle of Colorado's great attractions of Breckenridge, Vail, Keystone, Silverthorne, Frisco and Dillon. Whether it's great hiking trails, biking, big lake fishing and boating, fantastic golf or just chillin' and reading a book or two, this is where to find it!

Our top floor condo faces the ski slopes and is a short 4 minute walk to Center Village where you will find shopping, bike and equipment rentals, restaurants and nightlife. Store your equipment in a private ski locker and then take the elevator to our condo.

The first floor has a full bath with a Jacuzzi tub and an additional separate vanity; a kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining area and a living room with a queen sized Murphy bed. The kitchen, which has been newly renovated with new cabinets and granite counter tops, is fully equipped with an electric stove and self-cleaning oven, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, toaster, coffee maker, pots and pans, electric skillet, crock pot, dishes, and silverware.

With a flip of the switch you can relax in front of the gas fireplace on cool evenings and enjoy the view out of the large bay window or watch your favorite TV shows or a movie.

Upstairs you will find another queen sized bed, lounge area, and bathroom with a shower. All linen and towels are included. We also invite you to bring your laptop and use our broadband wireless Internet.

Telemark Lodge features indoor garage parking, a common area hot tub with showers, ice making machine, snack and drink vending machines, laundry facilities plus an outdoor deck with a gas barbeque grill. Just a few steps from the front door you can catch the free Copper shuttle to any part of the resort or the free Summit County Stage for a free ride to the surrounding communities of Frisco, Dillon, Silverthorne and Breckenridge.

Summer is a great time to visit Copper. Enjoy the thrill of playing the award-winning 18-hole Copper Creek Golf Course, or riding your bike on the paved bike trail that runs along Ten Mile Creek from Vail, through Copper Mountain and down to Breckenridge. Or take a chairlift ride to the top of the mountain to check out the many wildflowers. If that is not enough, there are also paddleboats, a climbing wall, a zip line over the lake and numerous hiking trails. Don’t forget the factory outlet stores in Silverthorne, just 10 miles away, and the many wonderful restaurants in Copper, Frisco, Dillon, Breckenridge, and Vail... all less than an hour away.

This is our second home and we invite you to come and share the mountain from the comfort of a home, not a hotel room. We know that you will love it and feel right at home too.

So what are you waiting for?? Check our calendar for available dates, pick your travel dates and call or email us for your reservations.

About John Rendek

We love to travel, ski and sail. Copper Mountain has been our favorite vacation spot so we decided to make it official and we bought a condo here. It's a great place year round for all sorts of outdoor activities and for being with friends. So come on up! We know that you will love it too!

Why John Rendek chose Northwest

Telemark Lodge is a great condo in a great location! We're only a short walk to the Village and the slopes and the condo has everything anyone could need for a base of operations for skiing, biking, hiking, golfing, sailing, boating, sightseeing, shopping and just plain relaxing at any time of the year. You don't need to bring anything but yourselves, your food, your clothes and a desire to have fun. We furnish everything else or you can get it in the Village.

What makes this condo unique

Copper Condo 505 is located in the middle of the best skiing, snowshoeing, tubing, boating, biking and hiking terrain in Colorado. Besides Copper, Breckenridge, Vail, Keystone, A-Basin, Loveland and Ski Cooper are all within a one hour drive.

Nice place to stay for winter break

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at this condo during the week of Christmas for the last few years, it has always been a pleasant experience. Nice, clean room with full kitchen and fireplace, making it the home away from home.

Very well equipped condo with a three minute walk to the American Flyer Lift.

  • 5 of 5

This was a great, well equipped and organized ski condo very close to Copper center, I really appreciated the detailed organization and large amount of cooking and earing utensils. The condo was well supplied with spices, condiments, and non perishable staples. The Murphy bed in the living room was more comfortable than the more usual sofa bed. The condo has a great gas fireplace and expansive views of the slopes. To make it even better I would suggest a new mattress in the bed room and the addition of a small desk. The numerous pegs for hanging ski clothes were a great touch as were the two closets with many wooden hangers! I would definitely rent this top floor unit again!

Owner's Response: Thanks for the wonderful review. Just so you're aware I will be heading up to the Condo with a new mattress for the bed. Thanks for the suggestion we also felt it might be time to replace it. John and Melissa Rendek

Terrific choice here at Copper!

  • 5 of 5

This one-bedroom unit worked perfectly for my two-week stay during the latter half of July while it was hot in the city but cool & dry up in the mountains. Nice and quiet for resting after a day of hiking or cycling or while working. Good strong wi-fi signal if you need it, clean and comfortable accommodations. This unit is certainly clean and well cared for. Both the Ernie the owner and Jamie the on-site building manager were very helpful with any questions and provided terrific customer service. I absolutely recommend Timberline 505.

Copper is a favorite choice for a summer stay in the mountains: easy access to Denver-Boulder, hiking trails, cycling routes and the bike paths, food choices in Frisco - Dillon - Silverthorne.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your comment, Dave. It was our pleasure to have you stay in our condo! As advertised, this is our second home and we want our guests to enjoy it as much as we do and we hope that you will come again. The correct location though is Telemark Lodge unit 505, not Timberline, or just VRBO 68007.

Outstanding value!

Everything was exactly as represented. The condo was extremely well supplied and organized - we loved how everything was labeled. Even though the kitchen is small, it had everything we needed and we were able to prepare full meals easily. We are a family of four and the accommodations were very comfortable. The location was excellent - our youngest is 7 and 1/2 and she had no problem walking to the closest lift. Having 2 bathrooms and an additional sink outside the main floor bathroom was very nice. The garage parking is a great advantage. We also liked the use of security codes to enter the building, storage area and condo, eliminating the need to check in and get a key. We did have a couple of minor issues that were immediately handled by Jamie, the property manager. The day we checked in, the only elevator broke down. Fortunately, we got our luggage up to the condo before that happened. We did have to carry groceries up the 5 flights that evening, though. This could have been a major inconvenience had Jamie not gotten the elevator repaired the next day. The fireplace was inoperable, but again Jamie fixed it right away. Having an onsite property manager dedicated to customer service is a huge plus for this property. Because we are snowboarders, the ski locker was a little tight. We were able to fit all 4 snowboards in the locker, but if you bring more than 4, be prepared to remove bindings each night to store them all. All things considered, you can't beat this property for the price!

Owner's Response: Maintenance issues like you experienced are common with rental properties. On-site property management is super important! Thanks for understanding and we hope you will return soon!
