We loved this home so much the first time, we decided to come back and stay in the cottage which is in the back behind the house. Since it was just my husband and I, it was perfect! This cottage was stunning. It has a very large bedroom (only 1), a very nice spa like bathroom, a beautifully designed kitchen with granite counters and beautiful fixtures. The living room is just off the kitchen with wonderful newer furniture and even a wall mounted “smart” TV. The cottage had newly tiled floors from front to back and it was simply beautiful! I loved staying in the house the first time we were there, but I think the cottage was perfect for my husband and I! As always the owners were just wonderful! Will be staying again, VERY SOON!

Great Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Charming cottage right in the midst of everything wonderful about Beaufort. Well stocked with everything you need should you decide to cook. But why bother with all of the awesome restaurants within walking distance! We loved this cozy, comfortable, and private getaway and it being pet friendly was a big plus. The welcome gifts were a nice touch. We hope to return often.

Beautiful cottage in great location

  • 5 of 5

We spent a nice 3 day weekend in Beaufort at this cottage. It has a huge bedroom, nice comfortable living area and large kitchen which is fully equipped. Tucked out of the way behind a large house, parking was easy and only had a 2 block walk to all of the restaurants and local businesses. Would definitely recommend!

We loved it!

  • 5 of 5

We went to the islands, had great breakfasts out on decks, saw the wild horses, saw dolphins, our dog chase was most popular to all kids and adults, got burnt having too much fun on beach swimming. We saw the town parade and live band. Two very good dinners out. Everything within walking distance. Everyone in town very friendly! We will be back!!

Perfect!!

  • 5 of 5

The Admiral's Cottage is lovely and spacious. This was our first trip to Beaufort and we will definitely return. We enjoyed the walks to the docks and restaurants. Our favorite hangout was Cru...for coffee each morning with the locals. This is our kind of place, laid back, easy living. The Cottage is situated very close to downtown and yet is private. I am sure we will return again and again.

Beaufort, North Carolina's third oldest town, offers a variety of activities for visitors of all ages. Experiencing Beaufort is like coming home.

Beaufort’s streets, waterfront, and surrounding areas have not changed drastically since the 1700s. Houses that were built in the eighteenth century on Front Street, particularly in the first and second block, are still standing today, occupied by families whose ancestors helped develop the town. Although Front Street is now paved, early on it was merely a path along the shore.

The families who came, built, lived, and died in Beaufort continue today through their many descendents. Although many newcomers have moved to the area in the past 25 years, Beaufort is still a very unique and blessed place to live.
