The location of this property is excellent. Only 23 minutes walk from Union Station.
This basement apartment is well decorated and clean. How quiet it is depends on the upstairs unit occupants. A city bus stops right outside, and a little market is one block away. My husband and I felt safe walking in this neighborhood, and we definitely enjoyed our stay. We liked the convenience of Union Station from where all types of public transportation and tours depart.
Great location, Fantastic Host, A+ Parking spot
First off understand that you are renting a basement apartment and the deck outside is shared with the upstairs renters. With that said during our stay we enjoyed the use of the deck in the evenings and had no problem with the other tenants. The interior is updated with everything that you would need for a short term or long term stay. We had a few issues with the apartment, but Sara was very quick to respond and made sure that we were taken care of. I would recommend Sara to anyone wanting to rent a property in DC and I would recommend this property to anyone that does not have a problem with tighter spaces. The ceilings are low, but at 6' tall I was able to manage well. It is a 15 minute walk to eastern market and union station metro. This property had off street parking!!! This apartment was comfortable for my wife and I and our 2 younger kids. The following are a better representation of my ratings.
