Stylish two bedroom apartment in historical building in the heart of Florence
Amazing designer apartment in the historical centre of Florence. (S.Lorenzo)
The apartment is composed of large master bedroom, kitchen/living area, bathroom with shower and a lounge room that can be used as second bedroom if there are more than 2 of you.
It’s a typical Florentine apartment featuring terracotta floor, high ceilings with exposed timber beams and thick walls.
Great care has been taken in selecting high end modern furniture, every object, artwork or print in the house has a history.
The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, kettle and toaster and everything you need to cook and dine (even though there are so many nice restaurants in the neighbourhood you will probably never cook!)
The master bedroom has an Italian double bed (200x160cm) and air conditioning and it’s overlooking Via Faenza.
The lounge room has a 40 inches tv and a big sofa that can be converted into a bed with a second pull out bed to accommodate up to two additional people.
All windows are equipped with mosquito nets for summer.
The apartment has an unbeatable location, it’s 5 minutes walking from the train station of Santa Maria Novella, and only minutes from some of Florence major attractions: the Mercato Centrale is around the corner, the Duomo is five minutes walking, Ponte Vecchio is 10 minutes walking.
If you love being in the middle of the action this apartment is the perfect place for you!
It’s only minutes from the Mercato Centrale di San Lorenzo, an amazing indoor food market where you will find the best fresh produce on the ground floor and food stalls on the first floor where you can have a great lunch with a few glasses of wine.
Around the food market there are lots of stalls selling leather goods, from jackets to bags and wallets (remember to bargain on the price!)
The Basilica di San Lorenzo is just 2 minutes away and the Duomo is five minutes.
You can be at Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi in 10 minutes.
On Via Faenza there are many shops including supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and laundries.
If you sleep in the second bedroom you will wake up to the beautiful smell of buiscuits coming from “Il Cantuccio di San Lorenzo”, a pastry shop baking fresh cantucci every day (a typical Tuscan biscuit) on Via Sant’Antonino.
You can have your morning coffee and breakfast Italian style at Sieni, a pasticceria on Via Sant’Antonino, they make some wonderful pastries and nice cappuccino.
Zanobini is a great shop to buy some good bottles of wine, it’s on Via Sant’Antonino too.
There are plenty of restaurants and wine bar in this neighboroud, you will find some suggestions in our house manual,!
If you arrive by train you can easily walk to the apartment, it’s only 5 minutes walking.
A suggestion to get to Florence the train is the most accurate, however the plane is often diverted to Pisa airport!!!
Please respect the apartment as if it was your own, take good care of it during your stay and keep it tidy.
The apartment is in a quiet building with mainly couples living here, please be respectful of the neighbours, do not party, do not be loud.
Smoking is not allowed. Pets are not allowed, sorry
Please turn off the air conditioning when you go out, the room cools pretty quickly so there is no need to keep it on if you’re not in.

Florence in April
Perfect location. Short walking distance from train station and directions were very clear. Very neat and clean. Paola was enjoyable to work with. Highly recommend this location.
Perfect location to enjoy Florence.
This was a fantastic apartment to use as our base to enjoy Florence. The apartment is a five-minute, easy walk from the train station and within a 15 minute walk to most sites including the Uffizi, Duomo and Gallery of Academia. The apartment was much more spacious than it appeared in the photos. Our family of 4 had ample room to spread out. The bed was very comfortable. Paola was a wonderful host explaining everything quite clearly and there is a helpful binder in the apartment. She even took the time to show me how to make Italian coffee so that I would do it correctly. The reasons for four than five stars are the internet and kitchen linens. The wifi only allows two people to connect at any one time necessitating us taking turns. Also, the wifi has a limit of 60gb per month so renters of the apartment are asked to limit data usage. This would have been elpful information to have had prior to selecting this apartment. Also, I knew there was no dishwasher when I booked this apartment but there were not dish cloths to wash the dishes or dish towels for drying dishes. No paper towels ere provided either. These items are necessary if there isn't a dishwasher. But given its location, large size and pleasant decor, we would absolutely stay here again if our travels take us back to Florence.
Great location but a little load
Great spot, close to the main train station and easy access to the sights. Can be loud at night due to the restaurant below it.
Excellent, simply excellent
Paola was efficient and knowledgeable. The apartment was situated close to all the important sites and had everything necessary to make my stay easy and pleasant. I highly recommend this apartment for singles or families.
very comfortable apartment
Very easy to find this apartment, just a few minutes walk from the train station. The apartment was quite large and comfortably appointed. Paola was an excellent hostess and took the time to point out sites and neighborhood restaurants. The apartment was quiet yet just minutes from all the main tourist spots and cool flea markets. We were very satisfied with our stay- if only it was longer!
Hidden gem in the middle of florence
My wife and I loved this apartment. Its very close to main train station and walking distance to duomo, accademia and Ponte vechio bridge.
Thanks again for a wonderful stay Paola.
The apartment is only 5 minutes walking from Santa Maria Novella train station and close to all major sights in Florence.
The central market is just around the corner, San Lorenzo Church, the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi are all in walking distance.
The area is very lively with lots of restaurants, wine bars and cafes'.
