Situated just a short walk to downtown Breckenridge and the peak 9 ski base, the condo unit is located in a serene setting, on a quiet street in a small 18 unit condominium complex. A shuttle stop in front of the complex provides free transportation to downtown Breckenridge and all ski bases as an alternative to walking. Offered with a rental is free access to the Columbine Pool and hot tubs facility across the street which has a heated outside pool and two large outdoor and two large indoor hot-tubs.

The condo interior consists of 900 square feet of living space. A private entry hall with ski storage and bench welcomes you and opens to a large great room with an updated kitchen, dining room and living area with wood floors, overstuffed sofas and chairs, and a large flat screen TV with digital cable, two large panoramic sliding glass doors in the great room open to a private deck that overlooks the trees surrounding the facility. A gas grill and deck seating provide a relaxing area to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Sleeping accommodations are provided for six people by two bedrooms and a queen size sofabed in the greatroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed and it's own private full bath.The second bedroom has two twin beds. There is a second full bath in the hallway. All bedding and towels are superior quality and wireless internet is provided throughout the unit at no additional charge.

You'll find a comfortable 'home away from home.' But you will leave... if only for hours at a time. You can walk to the ski area, hiking and mountain biking trails, and the town of Breckenridge, with its wonderful shopping, dining and entertaining experiences.

Little outdated but very comfortable.

We stayed over Christmas break and had a great time. There is a free shuttle to the ski lifts and walking distance to town. Place has well equipped kitchen and grill on the balcony.

Not what was expected.

We were excited to use both the pool/hot tub and deck, both of which we could not get into. The fireplace did not work either. Some of the outlets didn't work so they had extenion cords running across the room.

The master king bed made noice anytime you moved.

This is probably a great place for college boys to stay not families.

There were no sheets for the pullout bed as well.

Owner's Response: Guests arriving after you notified me that there were issues. These issues have all been taken care of. There is access to the deck if not through one sliding glass door then through the other. Istructions for access to the pool and hot tub facility is detailed in the guest book. You also stated 3 guests which makes me assume there was no need for sofa bed sheet since the unit sleeps 4 people in beds. A simple call would have allowed me to take care of all these issues for you.

Nice condo and good location but not perfect

First and foremost, we had a great vacation which included staying in this condo. The place was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located to the slopes. It's a ten minute walk (I timed it) to the QuickSilver chairlift. At the end of the day, we caught the "brown" shuttle from Beaver Run base lodge which dropped us off right in front of the condo. Nice! You can walk to town just as easily (we did) but the shuttle is available, too. The Conoco gas station/convenience store is right around the corner for any quick supplies needed but there are two actual grocery stores in town, too. The condo itself was fine. As many others have said, the kitchen is tight and without much room for storing groceries. A pantry or another empty cabinet would be helpful but we made do. It could use some juice-sized glasses, too. The gas fireplace is flaky. Sometimes it would turn on; sometimes it wouldn't. Hopefully the owner can get that figured out. And the sliding door to the balcony was locked with no key available. I'm not sure what that's about but we didn't use the BBQ grill anyway. The bedrooms are decent but we all agreed the beds themselves are getting worn and squeaky. The master bathroom shower needs a new showerhead (poor spray), a temperature adjustment (never got hot enough in my opinion), and an actual heat lamp bulb in the ceiling fixture (it only had a standard bulb so no heat). The hall bathroom was much better in these regards. Now I know these are nitpicks but I'm mentioning them just so future renters know about them or so they can get fixed/upgraded eventually. Overall, would I stay here again? Most definitely. Do I hope the few things I mentioned get attention? Also, most definitely. The owner, Viva, was pleasant and easy to talk with and all transactions/payments were handled properly. And finally, if anyone is wondering if they made the right choice in coming to Breckenridge, I will whole-heartedly say YES to them. It's a great resort with plenty to offer. We skied four days and still didn't get to every trail. It also has a great town with plenty to offer to skiers and non-skiers alike. All-in-all, a great vacation spot!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. I am Viva but I am not the owner. I manage the unit. I had Service Monkey come in and service the fireplace unit. I am sorry they could not get over while you were there but the fireplace is working perfectly again. As for storage, the owners just put in a cabinet over the counter to store dishes and free up room for groceries as this was common feedback. I am not sure how much additional space or cabinets can be added for more. There is a lock on the other patio door with a key to open it. It is a bit tight but you can also access the balcony through the sliding glass door next to the fireplace. I wish you had called. I would have been happy to provide that information. The shower head and heat lamp are easy fixes and i will check out the temperature adjustment for the shower and suggest an upgrade to the beds. Thanks again for your review.
