My house has a garage for two cars and easily fits 2 more. Beautiful views, clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. It is close to wind-surfing in Mokuleia, surfing in Sunset Beach, picnicking and turtle watching in Kaiaka BayBeach Park, swimming in Crozier beach. If you like shopping and going to restaurants, that is only 3 minutes away to Haleiwa town.
My neighbor is a sky-diver, perhaps you may like to skydive with him at Dillingham.
Jerry's pizza has the bomb pizza. I go there all the time because it's cozy and the food is so good. Guava is a cool dress shop and if you like Kahuku shrimps the trucks are all over. Shave ice at Matsumoto's, and good weekends bar-b-cue in Haleiwa. The house is perfect because it's very quiet but if you want to galavant around it is close by Haleiwa.
I am a mother of three. I live in the East side of the island. This is my summer home. I want to share my home for others to enjoy. A vacation rental allows me to also enjoy the house.
The best thing about my house is that you feel that you are in a serene city. It's low-key, safe and quiet. A nice change from Waikiki.
Thank you for your interest.
Marie Georgette Olondriz purchased this house in 2010
The house offers a nice view. You feel that you are in an open area and very close to the grocery store, literally a few meters away. The gas station is also a few meters away, same with the post office. Very convenient.
Simplicity.
Mokuleia Beach for windsurfing.
Dillingham airfield for sky diving.
Loved staying at Marie's Waialua property. The house was perfect, accommodating four adults and three children. House was in immaculate condition - super clean and well stocked.
**Important to note: There are roosters in the neighborhoods at wake at 0330. And there are minimal window coverings. Both of these factors made it hard for our kids to sleep/nap during our stay.
Overall we would happily return to Marie's rental. She was very attentive and gracious. Wonderful experience!
This house in Waialua is a must stay it was absolutely beautiful and the views are breathtaking! Marie is an excellent host! She communicated very well getting back to me so promptly! House is close to so many great and fun places! If you stay here you will never regrets it:)
The location was so peaceful and relaxing. It was like staying at a family member' house. We were able to drive into Honolulu and Waikiki to do stuff and then return to bliss. House was well equipped and clean. Recommend trying shrimp trucks in Haleiwa and Cholos. Souvenirs and Hawaiian things can be purchased inexpensively at the Aloha Stadium swap meet. This place was a "find" north shore and would definitely stay here again. Thanks Marie.
The house is large and nice with a great view. House is very clean. All my family enjoyed staying at the house. Marie was a great host, and she gave us tips and lots of helpful information while we are staying there. I would visit this home again for sure for your next trip to Oahu. Thank you, Marie.
This house was simply amazing! I can't say enough good things. Marie was such a gracious host. The house is very clean, and has all the things you could ever need. Clean, SUPER comfortable beds make for a relaxing, rejuvinating sleep after a long day out at the beach. Many extra towels should you need one. So many windows that it almost feels like you're outdoors. Balconies, a cute yard with a picnic table, and a gorgeous view of one of Dole's farms. Open windows keep the place cool, no A/C required. Plenty of fans if the cool wind from outside isn't enough. The location is perfect, in a quiet neighborhood not far from beaches, restaurants, and shopping. The Sugar Mill across the street is really a neat place, great coffee and cool shops. I'm so grateful that Marie opened up this home to us, and I hope I can rent again the next time we're in Waialua! Thank you a million times Marie!
My friends and I loved this house! We wish we could have stayed much longer, but alas we had to get back to the mainland. Marie was incredibly helpful and had everything set up perfectly. I would definitely stay here again and my six other friends would too! Note that there are three great bedrooms upstairs and a large couch downstairs. The master bedroom with the king is beautiful and spacious. It doesn't have a door though so if you need more privacy just be aware. The house was perfect for two couples and three married guys whose spouses couldn't make the trip! Thank you Marie!
There is a public gym at the Waialua park just close to the house.
It has two tennis courts that are in good condition, a public gym and a free time for volleyball.
