Lovely villa in a great location
We stayed for ten days at villa Mimosa D. It’s located ten minutes walk down steep steps (although a very pretty walk) to the beachfront where there is a good choice of bars and restaurants. The beach is very nice we spent a couple of days there. It’s about twenty minutes to Nerja centre where there is a larger variety of shops, bars and restaurants, We thought it was lovely.
The villa is very well presented and there is lots of cutlery and crockery etc... if you want to prepare meals in the villa although did have to clean a lot of them before use. The views are amazing from the outside area and it’s really peaceful. We dealt with the owner and property manager with a few minor problems and they were both very helpful. There are two supermarkets within a five and then ten minute walk. All in all a great holiday in a lovely villa in a great location.
Very comfortable Villa
This Villa proved to be a good shelter during a very wet week in Nerja. The accommodation suited us very well, with a bedroom and shower room downstairs and two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower over the bath upstairs. The Villa was light and airy, with lovely views from a number of rooms and terraces. We were glad of the heating as the weather was not at all good during our stay. The villa was clean and tidy on our arrival. Key collection was easy and the directions and information supplied was very good. We would be happy to recommend the villa.
A birds eye view from this villa placed above Burriana beach.
This villa gives you the best view in Burriana! Mountains as far as you can see and then the Mediterranean Sea. Watch the sunrise pop out from behind the mountain every morning. It's beautiful! From the upstairs balcony you can see right into Nerja. The sun sets over Nerja so the upstairs balcony is the place to watch this.
The location is peaceful and quiet. A family oriented place.
The pool is wonderful and the views get even better when you are in there.
A very spacious modern villa with air conditioning.
Only a five minute walk to a very impressive supermarket where you can buy your ingredients for a lovely candle lit meal on your balcony surrounded by all the scenery.
All kind of bird life to be seen from here, including Eagles.
10 to 15 minute walk down to Burriana beach with its cafes, shops and bars. 30 to 40 minute walk into Nerja. Nerja is an old whitewashed town full of character and very pretty. The local taxis are great and will most times be with you in 5 minutes. €7 into town.
Frigliana is a must to visit. Maro is walkable from the villa too. Takes about 40 minutes. Not a lot there but lovely. If you like caves they are near Maro.
It's our second visit to the villa and in our opinion it's the best villa for the views.
Very nice and comfortable house for 6 pers
We stayed with 5 adults and all could have their own privacy if needed. 3 terraces downstairs, and one on the first floor. Good beds, clean sheets, however we washed the pillows because of stains. But no big deal, a washingmashine was available.
The diswasher did most of the work. But if you want to do the dishes by hand you have to realize that there is only one towel.
The house was clean and all worked well, but the showercabine and bath are aged and could use a new sealant ore better. We realize that wear and tear in a rental house is higher than at home, therefore these recommondations.
In general we can recommend this nice house in very nice Nerja.
We would book it again.
Ovn virkede ikke - opvaskemaskine vaskede ikke rent. Strømmen gik gentagne gange. Aircondition i stue virkede ikke.
As the villa’s owner, my main concern is the welfare and satisfaction of my guests. I take all their feedback and comments very seriously and always like to provide the best possible service and experience to them. This pays off with many repeat customers and lots of happy clients.
As with all houses, sometimes things get broken and whenever we notice or get told about them, the issue is dealt with immediately and sorted out as quickly as possible to minimise inconvenience, which is highly appreciate it by all our clients.
In your case, I was extremely surprised as you did not raise any of these issues during your stay or departure, so there was nothing I could have done about it if I wasn’t aware of it.
After having read about it for the first time here, I immediately have checked these issues and find that the oven and dishwasher are in perfect working order. Regarding the A/C unit, it has been replaced immediately when the next client has told us about it.
I am very sorry that you did not give us the chance to react so that your stay could have been more comfortable and I also hope you did get the jacket you forgot behind safely after we sent it straight back to you by post.

Nerja is a beautiful and authentic Spanish town that has managed to fight the high rise resorts of the west of Malaga, with the Almijara mountains coming down to the sea forming cliffs and coves as well as the 1km long Burriana Beach. The famous Nerja caves, natural parks and beaches all add to Nerja's appeal and are a draw for families and couples alike. The numerous amounts of activities in the area are, Beach, walking, swimming, horse riding, paragliding, great food and general relaxed atmosp
The Nerja Caves, one of Spain's biggest tourist attractions, are well worth a visit. A extensive network of fascinating underground caverns with the World's biggest stalactites, plus an auditorium and stage where the annual music and arts festival takes place. Nearby is Maro, a picturesque village with panoramic views across the sea and a small-secluded beach, invisible from the cliff top. The mountains shelter many small attractive villages, notably Frigiliana with its restored Roman town and narrow vehicle-free cobbled streets. Further afield is the historic city of Granada and the famous Alhambra Palace (pre-booking advised), or perhaps a trip to Malaga and the new Picasso Museum. Marbella and Puerto Banus also provide a great day out, as do visits to Mijas, Antequera and the El Torcal National Park. For winter visitors, the 'Sierra Nevada' ski resort, near Granada, is about two hours drive away.
