About Suzanne Gray
I grew up in Abington, PA and my parents brought me to Ocean City every summer for a couple of weeks. I have two grown children, one in college and one living on her own. We have such great memories of this home from playing cards at the kitchen table, to heading out to Kessel's Korner for ice cream. (28th and Asbury.
Why Suzanne Gray chose Ocean City
I grew up in Abington, PA and my parents brought me to Ocean City every summer for a couple of weeks. My Mother came to OC with her family when she was a child so the legacy continued. Finally, after renting for many years, my parents bought this home and it has been in the family for almost two decades. We have such great memories of being here. I brought my children when they were little and we spent precious time with my parents. In most recent years due to declining health, my parents were unable to come to the beach. They both passed away in 2013 and I decided that I could not let this place go. After discovering last May additional issues from Hurricane Sandy, I completed renovated and updated this property. Much of the artwork hanging in the property is that of my Father's.
What makes this Condo unique
While it is five blocks from the beach, we are centrally located and a 5-10 minutes walk to the beach and boardwalk. Because there are no homes across the street due to the middle school, it is a very quiet place. Also the bike/dog walking path is on the other side of the street. The quaint front porch is a favorite for enjoying an evening cocktail and watching the sunset. I also love to cook and have outfitted the kitchen with the latest and greatest appliances, and cooking utensils. I have every board game (practically) under the sun and also a card table with chairs if you should wish to do a jigsaw puzzle. The closed in outside shower makes it convenient when coming home from the beach.

Quaint and Convenient
I felt like I was home as soon as I walked in the door. The perfect distance to the beach, convenience stores, food...
Extremely quiet but great for kids all ages. With a middle school across the street you have privacy but activities to keep the kids busy. I think I have found my annual "go to" spot!!!!
Thank you for your incredible hospitality Suzanne.
Thanks so much for your wonderful review! I am glad you had a great time and would love to have you stay again. I'm sorry we didn't get to meet in person, but maybe next year. Let me know what weeks you want. I am putting my 2018 calendar together now. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
My 2 children and I just spent the week in this adorable home. The house is a very short walk to the beach and the boardwalk. The outside shower was roomy enough to help my little one with her suit without soaking myself in the process. I did use the washer dryer and they are great. My kids loved their room and I was very happy with mine also. The updated kitchen made it a breeze to cook dinners and prepare lunches for the beach. The front porch was perfect for coffee in the morning. My kids told me they want to stay here again next year. I just loved this little cottage, it was perfect for my little family. Thank you again Suzanne, this place was everything we needed!
Thank you so much for your review. I am so happy that you and your children loved it! I am so glad that the weather seemed to cooperate as well. I would love to have you as guests again next year and you are welcome anytime. Enjoy the rest of the summer and let me know if you want o book next year.
Excellent vacation rental!
We have stayed at this awesome beach house for three years now. It is such a cozy place to stay, and close to all the attractions! This rental has truly been a perfect match for our vacation needs and the owner is wonderful to deal with. We have made fantastic family memories at the Haven Street beach house. Can not recommend this property enough!
Having you and your family is a pleasure! I'm so glad you are making great memories with your children. This is my special place and have great memories from years past as well.
Thanks again for being such great guests and I look forward to having you stay again.
Located on quiet Haven Avenue, you are just 3 blocks from Aunt Betty's Ice Cream, Uncle Bill's Pancake house, and Blitz's market. Beautiful 20th street beach is lifeguard protected and has a lovely gazebo on the boardwalk. Boardwalk has ramps on both sides for easy access. Asbury Avenue, between 7th and 12th street is a quaint little shopping area with restaurants, gift shops, and boutiques. Since Ocean City is a dry town, if you would like to have an adult beverage outside of the cottage, there are many nice restaurants in Somers Point just 10 minutes away. Atlantic City is about 25 minutes away if you would like to see a show or gamble. Heading south down the Ocean Drive, you can experience Strathmere, Sea Isle City, Avalon, Stone Harbor, and Cape May. Cape May is about 40 minutes away but has a different feel to it. Many of the buildings are 100-200 years old. Abraham Lincoln stayed in Congress Hall and besides the history, there are many quaint shops and restaurants along with horse-drawn carriage rides. Great for a cloudy/rainy day.
