About Patrick Moloney
My wife and I are originally from Chicago and moved to Arizona in 2007. We live in the Phoenix area. We bought this ranch to escape the heat of Phoenix's summers. After buying the property in the fall of 2014 we also realized we love coming up in the Winter as well. We didn't realize after leaving Chicago how much we love the change of seasons - and snow!
Patrick Moloney purchased this Cabin in 2014
Why Patrick Moloney chose Flagstaff
We fell in love with this property the first time we saw it. It is about as private as you can get. There are no close neighbors. Sitting around the fire and watching the wildlife has been a real treat for us.

We had a great long weekend, family get together at the ranch house. The property is well maintained, perfectly supplied and in a great location. We look forward to our next visit there.
Great Private Location
All we could talk about was how we didn't want to leave. Thank you Patrick for such a great retreat and the fact that our fur babies could enjoy a vacation with us made it so much more enjoyable.
A Marvelous, Delightful Place
Easy to review: We are looking forward to returning. Everything was exactly (and more so) as presented on VRBO. Clean, comfortable, set in beautiful surroundings. It is obvious that Patrick takes great care of the property and his guests. In all a great stay.
All the comforts of home and more...
Well maintained, equipped and comfortable. The house has a spacious open plan and is nestled among ponderosa pines.
I love to cook and was pleased to find that the kitchen was stocked with condiments and some basic ingredients as well as great collection of pots, pans and appliances.
My impression is that this home is well loved and well used by the owners. As a renter, I felt lucky to have found it.
The location is convenient for day trips to the Grand Canyon, Walnut Canyon, Lowell Observatory and other points of interest. Overall one of the best rental experiences I've had over the past 10 years.
We had a wonderful time. Well above expectations. The home is so very comfortable and the grounds are great for roaming. It is close to everything locally and yet remote enough to feel very secluded.
The kitchen is more well appointed than anyplace, I have ever stayed.
I could go on and on about the comfort of the beds and the room for a large family, but it would get repetitive.
The only negative, is that it is hard to leave to go see the GC and Bearazona since it is so nice to be here. Our granddaughter didn’t want to leave.
A piece of heaven
A beautiful property nestled in the pines with great intimacy. The house has wonderful vibes of times past but all the modern commodities and is impeccable. Our two year old granddaughter loved the garden the rocks the trees to play hide and seek... great hikes in the forests around the oroperty and nearby but we often felt like just staying around the fire pit to enjoy each other’s! No one wanted to leave and we are so very grateful for this wonderful family time!
While the ski area is 24 miles away, avoid the crowds if you are just going sledding - there are plenty of hills around the cabin and off the road to the cabin. Grand Canyon is 1.5 hours away. Sedona is 35 miles away. Hiking is out the front door!
