About Kim Groglio
My family and I built this beach house about 10 years ago after having rented for many years. While we love being there ourselves, we are unable to spend the whole summer and therefore rent just a few, select weeks per summer.

The York Beach area is very family friendly with activities and attractions for everyone to enjoy. York is home to 4 beaches: Long Sands (the largest beach, which includes surfing areas), Short Sands (within the seasonal downtown which includes shops, restaurants, open air bowling and arcade), the small Cape Neddick beach and the picturesque Harbor beach. The vibe is very casual and relaxing. Activities abound including surfing, kayaking, boat trips, whale-watching trips, mountain hiking, biking, fishing options, golf, mini-golf, outdoor bandstand music nights and even a small amusement park and petting zoo. Close by is everything from great seafood shacks to homemade ice cream stands to fine dining. Just to the south is the charming and cosmopolitan Portsmouth, NH which has a large variety of excellent restaurants and cultural events as well as many boutiques and parks. To the north is the beautiful Ogunquit, with Perkins Cove and beyond which offers many, many things to do and see.
