This house was perfect for a large group. We had 7 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of space for cooking and hanging out on a rainy day, and walking distance from just about everything. Patty was wonderful! Kind, helpful, and very accommodating, and the house was fully stocked with all essentials. I highly recommend this rental for any time of the year.
Charming and functional
Wonderful old place ! Tons of room and an ideal downtown location. Walking distance from all the best CdA attractions. Not “fancy” but well appointed with everything needed for a pleasant stay.
Great location and very quaint! Good value for the price. We saw lots of turkeys and some deer too!
A Fab time was had by All
This is the second time we were able to rent this property, and Patty remains a gracious hostess, as always. Our family and extended family enjoys the easy location to both town and country, as well as a house large enough for impromptu gatherings and birthday celebrations.
Fantastic location and a wonderful house
Nice home with very sweet owner. Comfortable beds for everyone.
We were visiting over thanksgiving with my family of four, grandma and a young exchange student. Our Idaho family also joined us for thanksgiving dinner.
Kitchen was well stocked and workable. House was comfortable and nice. My wife would have liked it to be warmer, but she says that at home too.
Kids (2 of mine and two from CDA) all loved the place and running over to the fantastic park next door.
Thanks to Patricia for the delicious pie and the wine for my wife!
Family Wedding weekend
Five different families ( 10 adults and four children) from three states rented this location as we were all in town for my sons wedding. We have rented numerous houses in different states when we vacation, and this one exceeded our expectations. The location was great, within walking distance of a great park for the kids, the library, Lake Couer d'Alene, many restaurants and downtown shopping.
Patty greeted us upon arrival to show us around and let us know if we needed anything she would be available. She was kind enough to buy milk and bread to have for the kids and a pie for the adults! When the Internet wouldn't work Patty came right over to get it fixed. The house was very clean and had all the necessary amenities for cooking, sleeping, eating etc. The beds were comfortable, the three updated bathrooms were clean, the washer and dryer were clean and very handy, and the two play pens, toys, kids kitchen, bouncer, and bumbo seat were awesome to have on hand. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch, watching the local turkeys in the morning, and the cool, clean air. Staying in this house was like staying in your own home. Everything you need is there, and it was comfortable and cozy. If we come back to the area we would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone!
