Beautiful 19th century (1801) stone built house, in situ on the outskirts of the festival town of Tolmin (2.4km to Tolmin). You can walk to the beach area, along the banks of the Soca River, in 15 minutes (1.2km). The house is ideally located for outdoor summer and water activities, as well as for the festivals, such as Reggae, heavy metal, punk rock, and also ideally located 45 minutes drive to the ski resort of Cerkno, or Bovec-Kanin.
Recently restored, keeping many of the original 1800's features
The house is located 2 minutes walk from a pizzeria and pub, and 3 minutes walk from a small supermarket. A lovely riverside restaurant, all made in wood, Labcra, is just 1.2 kilometres. The capital of the area, Tolmin is just 3km away, where you will find many more shops and restaurants, and large supermarkets such as Hofer/Aldi.
You can walk to the festivals (3.7km) - it is closer but you have to go the long route to cross over the river - Punk Rock, Overjam reggae, metaldays..
There is a small private courtyard, with an 8 seater fired wood hot tub and large picnic table and benches for 8/10 people.
1. Drive is shared with the neighbour, so you can park your car here as long as you are at the house and prepared to move it, or park for free at the pizzeria opposite.
2. It is quiet time outside after 10pm at night - municipal rules.
3. Hot tub not available during July and August.
4. You are in the middle of the valley, surrounded by mountains and forests, as well as rivers, you should therefore expect many insects, including wasps, cockroaches, lizards, and scorpions present when it is warm and humid.
