Remodeled down to the studs last year, gorgeous Painted Lady. Many period details mixed with contemporary and modern baths and kitchen. Heart of the city, walkable (a few minutes) to the city's hippest restaurants, shopping and parks. Large living areas, dining areas, outdoor bbq, Garage parking for 1 car with an additional space in the driveway for another car. Fireplace. Very comfortable and nice home. Views from the top floors.

Greg McCord purchased this house in 2013
All the amazing qualities of a Painted Lady with none of the downside. Well insulated, nicely restored, quiet, spacious and lovely home.
The block is unique in that there are 14 Victorian homes all built in 1880 by the same builder / architect. They were originally built as "show homes" where you could come and look, pick one and then he would build that same house for you somewhere in the city.
OMG. Beyond my expectations... this place was perfect for my kids and grandkids. So well laid out and equipped , even to having toys for the grandkids, parking for 2 cars, location, beautiful rooms from top to bottom. All this and more made for a wonderful vacation. Made some wonderful memories on this visit.
What an incredible place to stay. This property boasts five bedrooms, five bathrooms, two parking spaces (one in a garage), lovely living room and open kitchen, natural light, modern and eclectic furnishings, a private back patio... All in a gorgeous dusty purple and gold Victorian home. The neighborhood is very convenient too. We found an amazing breakfast burrito place and a pizza spot nearby. There is also a corner mart a few paces away that had a great selection of craft beer. This property would be great for a family traveling. It was optimal for a group of co-workers as we each had our own private part of the home - and even own bathroom. Thank you for being a wonderful host and for sharing your gorgeous home.
My family just spent the week of my daughter's wedding at this fabulous home. The home is huge with 3 levels, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, a gorgeous kitchen and living area and a garage/driveway for parking. The house has been beautifully remodeled with many original architectural details preserved. One big advantage to this home over many I looked at was the number of bathrooms - 4.5 baths. There are 5 BR, but we only used 4 (with no small children, we didn't use the 2twin room), so each bedroom had a full bath - something I always look for. Our family was able to spread out and have their own individual space, and then gather in the kitchen/living area together. It was wonderful sitting by the fireplace in the front living room on a cool evening.
The location was perfect for us - great neighborhood with uber always readily available. My son had a car and it was fantastic not to have to worry about parking.
Greg was fabulous to work with from start to finish. He was very responsive to all my initial inquiries/questions and then available by text once we got to SF.
It was a memorable week with many wedding festivities and it was always great coming back to this spacious and comfortable home away from home. Thanks Greg and we look forward to staying here again!
We loved the property and neighborhood
Eddies Cafe great for breakfast, Bar Cruda great seafood and Tsunami Sushi was awesome experience
Convenience store on the corner
The home is as described and very clean
We had the pleasure of staying here with a large group of family members. This home was nicely appointed to handle our party of 10, while managing to give us together time, as well as our own space. The house is in a great location and although we had 4 cars, parking was not a big problem. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The living space is all on 1 level and the bedrooms and bathrooms make up the other 3 levels. Be prepared to climb stairs - this is San Francisco. This place is a gem and I would love to rent it again sometime.
This lovely Victorian home was the perfect rental for our stay in San Francisco. We had three families with children ranging from 2 to 19. There was a variety of toys that the little ones played with and the teenagers had plenty of space to set up their electronics while the adults congregated at the kitchen table playing cards and visiting. The 4 story house is comfortable and in an excellent location...we were able to walk only a block or two to get groceries and to find restaurants. We were all impressed with the amount of room that we had and the beautiful remodeling...especially in the kitchen and master bath. The backyard is charming and the house was very clean and well-maintained. During the week, we went to see the sights of San Francisco, toured wine country, and went to Yosemite. The owner is very easy to work with and provided clear instructions for us. If you aren't bothered by climbing a few steps, I highly recommend this property.
