Not as good as it looks
If you need privacy, beware - you won't read anywhere online that 2 of the rooms are accessed by walking through another bedroom which is partitioned off with a curtain! Layout is like a dormitory with lots of slamming fire doors and the whole place was absolutely baking hot.
I’m sorry you were less than happy. We do usually have extensive dialogue with guests about the suitability of the accommodation for them and indeed this was the case you as evidenced by the recorded between us:
...vine street studios and put that into google and it will be there and under loft apartment you can see floor plans. The apartment is very much an open plan living space both upstairs and down. Whilst the first two bedrooms are separate you need to walk through the third bedroom to get to the fourth and the staircase down to the studio bedroom. there are curtains to separate. But the apartment lends itself to 'all living together'.
Other than that, I’m very sorry it was so hot. We’ve decided to buy some top of the range Dyson fans in case there are more heatwaves.
Fantastic location with plenty of space for all the guests!
We had a great stay at vine street! Kitchen was well equipped and we found everything we needed very easily! Only piece of advice to pass on to future attendees is regarding the key pad for entry, it took us a while to work out how to get this to work but we soon realised that tapping it/ covering the screen with a flat palm woke the keypad up ready for the code to then be input.
Communication from owners was great and deposit was returned very promptly! We will be back ! Thankyou!
Beautiful spacious accommodation in the heart of Brighton.
We booked Vine Street studio to celebrate our Son's 21st birthday.
We all loved every minute of our stay and everything we needed had been thought of, leaving us able to relax and enjoy our stay.
Vine Street studios is located down a quiet street so would advise against this property if you were going to be on the rowdy side!
Thank you for having us ... we're already planning our next trip!
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and thank you for your lovely review! Looking forward to seeing you again!
Spacious, clean, tidy and comfortable!
We loved this property! The beds were so comfortable as were the plentiful chairs for everyone both at the dining table and in the lounge. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook in! Everyone had such a brilliant weekend-thank you!
Great location, fantastic open lounge / kitchen for socialising.
We all really enjoyed staying at Vine Street. It's a good house for groups, and excellent location in the centre of Brighton within minutes of the lanes.
In terms of the beds, it can be a bit tricky for couples, but as long as you're happy to share with each other, then all the better.
Fantastic apartment & great location
The apartment was fabulous, really great space and lovely decor. The only issue we had was with the heat. With 16 people on a gloriously hot weekend it was extremely warm and the two air con units downstairs didn't really make a difference. Some of the bedrooms were also very hot. However, everything else was brilliant and we had an amazing weekend!
There is plenty to do here. There are a wide variety of beautiful parks. You can take a stroll along the promenade and the pier or just relax on the beach. Brighton is a very vibrant city. With its massive choice of restaurants, bars and cafes, you'll never be stuck for somewhere to eat and drink. North Laine is the bohemian independent cultural heart and soul of Brighton. If the arts are your thing then you won't be disappointed. There is a huge array of exhibitions, theatre shows, festivals and street shows. And when the sun goes down they is a massive choice of nightlife.
