3rd floor 2 bed 1 bath fully furnished kitchen, linens, and porch w/ gulf water view. Block from the Seawall & Beaches. Fine dining, Pleasure Pier & mant attractions merely few short minutes away on foot. Bring the furry ones, Pets Welcome!

Great location half block from beach, 6 blocks from Pleasure Pier and 3rd floor up for great gulf view. Longboard pool and bar are free to use just down our alley. Bike shops and food are mere steps away, bike or walk to anything you need. Back yard picnic and grilling area with fire pit and ponds.

Sunset Villas are a project we have been personally working on putting our own sweat n tears in last few years each year getting better and better... all being done with you the guest helping us out each time you stay with us we try make the property a bit better each time someone leaves... the units area a lower grade then local 3-5 star hotels but price and location can't be beat for 2 bedroom with 5-6 beds for the whole family to enjoy on a budget. Cody and Suny your hosts are young energetic entrepreneurs that work great together to enhance beauty and your experience at the property. The host love feedback and personal touches that each guests can add to the property by leaving reviews and special notes for them... If you feel like helping out a young couple grow please book now and help out their cause to beatify their city one house at a time.

The property is under constant renovations and upgrades so there may be work being completed or on hold while guests are staying... It is mandatory all guests contact owner/manager about any unsatisfactory issues needing attention before any decisions are made to request refunds. Guests will not be refunded if for some reason there is any issues with the unit, its cleanliness, or any maintenance issues and not given proper notification and time to rectify the issues. We strive to go above and beyond to keep everything in good condition, clean and in good working order... but these units are not brand new... That being said please note that these units are priced accordingly and are not new condos or apartments normally priced 2-3x more. The units are in repair and upgrade stages throughout the year and not fully restored yet. Having guests booked most days of the year only allows for small repairs and upgrades be completed at a time. All appliances are heavily used and the units bare lots of foot traffic so normal ware n tear is seen throughout and management is taking notes and constantly trying to replace items as needed. Wear n Tear can be brought down to a minimum by taking shoes off at the door and cleaning up regularly. This is Texas and Texas has bugs, each unit is treated with multiple types of defense but it takes each guest to make sure not to leave food out, clean up spills and sweep regularly keeping food debri off the floor. Any issues guest must notify owners/manager and give reasonable time to rectify any issues or cleanliness needing attention... people make mistakes and unforeseen issues do arise so please give us the chance to be your host and take care of you.

I hate fast food and love home cooked food so this is exactly what I look for while traveling myself. If your looking for great priced, awesome location and affordable for everyone (college kids to full sized families) this is one of 2 units soon to be 3-4 units after we include 2 more 1 bedroom units sleeping 4 by summer of 2016.

block from the beach and surrounded by vacation homes of which 2 are mine so its normally a good atmosphere, clean and no worries. I typically meet all my guests and text throughout their stay as needed to help get around the island. Checkin is at 4pm Checkout is at 10am

Very unsatisfied

We did not have a pleasant experience. The property owner was hard to get in touch with. Asked for the address several times and did not get it until two days before we were to leave. The listing description was not accurate. It said there were bunk beds and a full size bed in one room and a queen in the second room. When we arrived there were no bunk beds only two twin and one queen. When we arrived the floors had not been sweep nor mopped. The neighborhood/neighbors were sketchy. We had someone walk into our unit with her dog asking for drinks out of the fridge.The property owner was on vacation at the time and I had three kids so we ended up leaving after just an hour and found somewhere else to stay. I contacted the owner to let him know we were not staying at the unit, knowing he was on vacation I left it at that it was not what I expected and there was nothing he could do to fix it so we left. When returning home I email him and told him exactly why we did not stay, it was unclean, not enough beds and the neighborhood and neighbors made me nervous. He then said that we slept in the beds and that he had to clean the unit after us! Which was not true! I gave him several opportunities to make it right but he did not choose to do so. All communication was done thru text because he would not return my calls. He described the unit in his own words after the fact that it was a "12x12 jail cell" looking place! I was very disappointed. We were fortunate enough to find a house in a nicer part of the Island that was clean and slept 8 for $300 cheaper than what we paid for this "12x12 jail cell"

Owner's Response: Some people you just can't do business with. Im very sorry guests were not satisfied... Not many over the years. I believed vrbo provided all the info on our unit. I will have to look why aren't you getting the address. Guests first agreed they did have the unit with enough beds... 1 queen 2 full and a sleeper sofa is just as many as 1 queen, 1 full and 2 bunks... which when called I answered and the family agreed it was just fine... we got a request in unit 2 who needed bunks downstairs previous wk & could have made arrangements to move back had the family not agreed that there was plenty of beds and unneeded. Only 3 neighbors live on our 1 block stretch from beach to the street after us & they are in very lovely homes & never scene.. all other homes are vacation rentals, so I can't understand why the neighbors after only 1 hr of being on the property are sketchy? Our cleaning crew along w/ myself cleaned that very unit together before we left for vacation so I know for fact it was clean, however, due to the # of guests in past year we had scuffed up white floors in the kitchen and bath appeared dirty from normal wear n tear. Please note they were replaced asap. I like to keep everything via text & email for keeping records. As I look at my records the text from me states, " this 2/1 furnished unit is $100/night rental & closest priced motel is a 12x12 brick jail cell looking unit w/ only 1 bed" (Mariner Inn for those who have experienced it). While on the phone as guests arrived to okay sleeping arrangements & again truly sorry, guest had no other complaints. No further communication, no further complaints, nothing to be concerned about... If anything needed attention we will always be there asap to remedy any situation, but none was made aware of. Guests canceled their reservations prior that lost them their money & last minute changed their minds, fortunately we didn't book another party, allowed them to stay... & they left in 1 hour to request a full refund? We allowed 250 (50%) refund even though they lost their monies canceling anyways via vrbo policy set. When asked "what issues caused you to leave?" I was told, "Oh, its probably just me being a SNOB don't worry" week later requesting a full refund. Only to come up w/list reasons a week later... go figure. Please note...dirt comes from your shoes, walk inside, dirt comes off... floors get dirty.... Turned up sheets=used beds. If anyone ever has issues please speak up to have them resolved. thx!

I've stayed at the villas 2 years consecutively and as last time it was amazing this year it was even better and i love the new look it was definately the icing on the cake i will be back again and again and again this is definatly the idea vacation spot you must check it out

This vacation rental was a great price and close to everything. We walked to the beach, bicycle rentals, restaurants, and to the Pleasure Pier.

I am usually meeting my guests on-sight and text as needed throughout their stay giving helpful guidance through the island. We may have bay fishing charters available as well as in-house hair/nail cuts & treatments, body massage, personal concierge services. Ask within.

Very clean quiet area half block from the beach. Only 3 full time residence on the block all others our beach rentals so come have some fun!

Walking and biking to everything you need or very short car rides and even $1-3 bus services, bike rentals and biker taxis.
