Charming 1-bedroom parisian apartement, renovated in March 2014. Located in the 'chic' 16th arrondissement of Paris, at walking distance from the Eiffel Tower and the wanted Auteuil and Passy areas. It is ideal for a romantic stay in the City of Lights with its trendy deco, its Queen size 'Baldaquin' bed, its genuine parisian style parquet and its superb bathroom.
Avenue de Versailles, 10 minutes away from the Eiffel Tower. All shops and restaurants, including the very chic Beaugrenelle Mall.
The Statue of Liberty will salute you when walking on the 'Ile aux Cygnes', have the nicest picnic in the Bois de Boulogne and get to the very center of Paris by bike or bus guided by River Seine along.
The apartment was all we could have wanted. Roomy bedroom with desk, chest and huge closet area, good bed, big modern bath with hot towel rack, double sink and big glassed in shower with lots of hot water. The kitchen was new and well appointed; and a nice combination dining living room. I can't imagine what we would have paid for a hotel room half this big! And it couldn't have been cleaner. The nicest thing though was the host. This was a spur of the moment trip to see the Shchukin art collection at the Foundation Louis Vuitton. The online site wasn't working, and the answering machine voice mail at the museum was full. We could see that some days had already sold out. But Jean-Francoise took time out of a business trip to get our tickets, and they were waiting for us when we arrived. There is a bakery, grocery store and several restaurant only steps from the door. Our host recommended the Italian restaurant Firenze. The food was delicious and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. We also took his advice and rode the 72 bus. Though I've been to Paris many times, this was a great way to see the overall city when we didn't have time to visit each area. I would certainly recommend this apartment!
As mentioned, we were extremely satisfied with our accommodations. It met and surpassed our expectations vis a vis, location, cleanliness, amenities. I would, without question, stay here on subsequent visits and highly recommend it to friends and relatives. Our hosts were polite, accommodating and pleasant to deal with at every step. Five star plus.
We loved this apartment for our girl trip mini vacation . Very convenient, walking distance to Eiffel Tower , nice restaurants down the street, little store to buy groceries around the corner . We felt like locals for 2 days ! Owners very helpful, made sure our stay was perfect . We enjoyed our walks by the river .
We highly recommend this wonderful apartment where we stayed for three nights. The host was very helpful and gracious. The location was excellent within 5-10min walk to the RER C which will get you within a short walk of all the sights in 15-20min. Some good restaurants and a grocery store just a short walk away.
The bed was very comfy and the room very dark so we slept really well.
I hope we can stay here again when we come back to Paris in the near future.
The apartment was quiet, comfortable, and well appointed. For an apartment in Paris this unit would be considered large, the entry way is lovely and welcoming. The apartment is uniquely separated with huge glass doors with ceiling to floor drapes providing privacy for parents with a small one or the spouse who likes to sleep in from the spouse who wants to be first in line at the Boulangerie for the freshest Baguette. The bedroom was very spacious, the bathroom and shower are amazing (could benefit from additional counter space), and the living room, dining area, and kitchen are big enough to enjoy dinner in and catch a movie. We had such a great time touring Paris, everything is so close and this pied-a-terre was so welcoming to come home to after a long day. There are several grocery options, restaurants, and hidden treasures all within walking distance. The metro and the RER are within a 10 minute walk from the unit but my recommendation for getting to the apartment would be hire a taxi on the way in from the airport/train and reserve a taxi (online in advance) on the way home. The RER is too long a walk and too long of a ride for the cost unless your traveling alone. I have traveled considerably throughout Europe and would highly recommend Jean-Francois's place for it's value, size, amenities, and proximity. The entire transaction with Jean-Francois was smooth and he kept in communication with us as our travel dates approached, which gave me confidence.
When we arrived early the owner met us earlier than arranged and this was very helpful and showed us his graciousness. The apartment is very beautiful and we'll appointed, kichen , bathroom, dining/TV rm and bedroom all very nice. It's location, in my opinion, could not be better. Close enough to main tourist sites for walking, yet in an area of nice local appeal and dining. We would recommend this apartment to any couple or small family( we were 3 persons).
Other : bus route to many attractions is only a few meters away. We felt very safe in this neighborhood.
