Barbara was easy to work with right from the start. We had a wonderful holiday in this quaint little cottage. Just right for a couple! It is close to downtown with a car and easy to navigate. We will check here first when we return.
A charming Santa Fe casita near downtown!
We have stayed in many casitas in Santa Fe over the years and consider this casita the best in terms of cleanliness, coziness and location! Our two dogs enjoyed the spacious backyard, the walkable neighborhood and daily walks to the nearby park. Being so close to downtown yet tucked away in this charming casita was truly priceless. The owners were welcoming and warm as well. Two thumbs up!
So pleased our guests enjoyed their stay, grateful for their review!
Our favorite litle hideaway
This charming casita is so comfortable we wish we could stay for months. Everything you need is here for a lovely extended trip. Full kitchen, washer/dryer, and a marvelous king bed. It's in a quieter corner of Santa Fe yet close to many things, including Museum Hill. We don't stay anywhere else. The hosts are kind, friendly people who live next door but always give you peace and privacy.
First a disclaimer: my husband and I have lived in Santa Fe for eight years, but needed a place to stay while we were "between homes." We could not have found a better place! The location is ideal: a five minute drive to downtown, yet with a quiet, country feel. The casita is thoughtfully appointed with everything you would need to feel at home. We were not actually on vacation, so we cooked most of our meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The bed is super comfortable and the entire home is light and bright. We stayed for a month and could have stayed longer, that is how comfortable we felt. Barbara is a thoughtful and friendly hostess who is attentive but not intrusive. You would be hard pressed to find a better accommodation in this beautiful city that we are fortunate to call home.
Great Christmas Stay
The casita is tasteful, and I cannot understate how nice the radiant heated floors are in the winter, as is the kiva fireplace. Great location, close to Museum hill and the foothills, and a very short drive or bike ride to the Plaza.
For pet owners, the back patio is enclosed so you can let your dogs out and they would be safe. Barbara and Chris make sure you are taken care of, are available if you need them, but not intrusive at all. Great stay, we'll be back.
Perfect place for us!
My husband and I and our two small dogs had an absolutely wonderful stay at this casita. Barb was very gracious and helpful without being intrusive. We arrived in the late evening, and were happy to find that the kitchen was already stocked with everything we would need for coffee and a light bite in the morning, so we didn't have to go to the store. The casita was appointed with everything we needed, and was very clean and tidy. The fenced yard was perfect for our pups, as well as being private and quiet. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
This lovely casita is within 5 minutes by car or under 30 minutes walking or biking from the Santa Fe Plaza, the Railyard District, the Museum District, a large dog park and other parks, and several walking and hiking trails.
