About Daryl Moreau

While we have lived in Ohio for almost 30 years, we met and fell in love at Tulane, and always dreamed of living once again near the majestic oaks of Audubon park. We have 2 children in college and when our youngest decided to enroll at Tulane (class of 2018), we knew it was time to fill our lifetime dream. We looked at houses for 6 months and couldn't find one we liked. But the minute we opened the front door, we knew this was the one. We trust you will feel the same. While our primary residence is in Ohio, we travel south every chance we get. But that still leaves lots of vacant weeks for us to share our exquisite home with those looking to experience what it’s like to live in a classic New Orleans home while visiting the Crescent City. While we obviously won’t be there during your stay, we have several family members in town who can quickly respond should you encounter any problem. We look forward to your stay and will do everything we can to make your time at our home the trip of a lifetime. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Shotgun house

  • 5 of 5

The house is lovely It's close to the big park in a quiet neighborhood and close to the trolley.

The owner is accommodating.

It could have provided more towels which is a little thing but nice to have. We enjoyed our stay in this New Orleans shotgun house.

Owner's Response: Nancy, Thanks so much for staying at my home. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit, and would be happy to have you stay again anytime. I feel badly that you found the 11 towels we have at our home insufficient. Should you visit again, I'll make sure to have more on site. Best, Daryl

Great Family Weekend!

  • 5 of 5

We were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to stay at this great home while visiting our daughter who is a freshman at Tulane! The whole process was seamless - the owner made sure to be proactive and was an excellent communicator! His brother, who met us at the home, gave us great restaurant recs and made sure to text us and see how our stay was progressing. The home itself is spacious and charming and in a great location. I just feel badly that my kids so many skittles and m & m's from the thoughtfully provided machines - truthfully that was the highlight for them and was another fun touch!

Perfect venue for family reunion

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful, clean, spacious, and welcoming, this 4-bedroom home was a perfect gathering space for 6 of us gathering for Easter. We enjoyed cooking in the well-appointed kitchen and watching family videos on the large screen TV. On-site manager Doug was there in minutes to greet us. The corner property is within a short walk of Audubon park and zoo as well as the St. Charles street car line. We are so happy to have found this place and highly recommend it.

Beautiful elegant location

  • 5 of 5

This house is even more stunnng than the pictures show. It is larger and super comfortable. The owner is very accomodating, and was always available to answer any questions we might have had both throughout the rental process, and during our stay. There was also someone local to contact. The neighborhood was lovely, only 2 blocks off St. Charles street car line. We were a group of 4 girlfriends on vacation, and definitely we all agreed we would stay here again.

Uptown Home near Audubon Park

  • 5 of 5

sorry for the delay in writing this review. I can not say enough great things about this property!

Great communication with owner and his representative. House was everything that we needed. Clean, spacious and great neighborhood. We had six in our group doing JazzFest. We rode are bikes everyday to the fairgrounds. Was great to come home to a quite, peaceful home. Garage access was great to put all are bikes and not have to worry about locking them up.

Beds were comfortable, tv room was fun to just hang out, while others were in kitchen area. Never felt like we were stepping over each other.

I do property management in colorado and this is by far one of the best properties that we have stayed in.

This home is set up for a great time in NOLA!!!

Running in the morning, Festing all day and then relaxing in a wonderful property.

I would not hesitate to recommend staying here.

Beautiful house, delightful neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I and our adult children came for my son's graduation from Tulane Law School. As everyone has said, the house is beautiful and much more spacious than we anticipated, providing space to either congregate or get away from the crowd. The furnishings are both comfortable and eclectic. The immediate neighborhood is peaceful but is within walking distance of multiple shops and restaurants, as well as Tulane and Loyola. A really excellent choice for a stay in a beautiful section of New Orleans.
