About Robert Bryant

I am a Maine native now living in Florida. My family lives nearby in Pittsfield. This is the lake I grew up on and remember many times coming to 'Moose Pond' with my friends during high school boating, swimming, and fishing. I bought this house for use for me and my family, and in spare time to rent out.

Robert Bryant purchased this cottage in 2008

Very well kept and amazing lake!

  • 5 of 5

I spent four nights here over Fourth of July weekend with a group of friends and we had such a great time. The house is in a nice peaceful location and the water in the lake was perfect. The view was breathtaking and we saw plenty of fireworks around the lake! We had all the essentials we needed- cooking supplies, towels, bedding, etc. There was no air conditioning but leaving the windows open at night was plenty cool. I would highly recommend this place!

Totally equipped camp w/ all the bells and whistles.

  • 5 of 5

This is a year-round home that happens to be on a great lake. The owner is friendly and very accommodating. I've vacationed in at least a dozen camps in the State of Maine over the past 40 years, and this one has it all. I highly recommend it!

Fun & Relaxing Family Vacation Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Our families, 4 adults and 2 children, totally enjoyed our time. This comfortable three level A-frame is on our list for future vacations! We loved the lake for swimming and canoeing. The long water views from the deck for fabulous with loons swimming out front too. It was super for us to be able to include our senior small dogs in our vacation. There was plenty of space for all of us plus multiple options for sleeping. The weather was great and we're already looking forward to the next time! Also deposit promptly refunded. Thank you!

Great lakeside retreat!

  • 5 of 5

The family and I spent an extended weekend 2/23-2/26. The cabin was excellent. Comfortable accomodations and everything you could want. My son and I ice fished for 2 and 1/2 days. We had decent action are totals were; 5 brown trout, 13 pickerel, 1 white perch, 1 cusk, 1 largemouth bass, and 18 yellow perch. Good action right in front of the camp. We could watch out traps right from the comforts of the living room. My wife really enjoyed the amenities. We would highly recommend this cabin!

Very Nice Winter Stay

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed five winter nights in the A-Frame, and as it happened, we arrived just at the start of a storm that delivered 12-27" of snow to the area, followed the next day by another storm dropping 5". Roads were cleared by 8 a.m. and the driveway was cleared by 9:15. We were never slowed down by the snow.

The house is neat and clean and well stocked with dishes, linens and other things. You need to buy your own wood for the fireplace if you want a fire.

Bob was easy to reach and seemed genuinely concerned about us as we approached in the storm.

I wouldn't hesitate recommending this property.

Very relaxing stay

  • 4 of 5

The place had everything one would need. The owner was present at his home 2 houses down for 2 of the weeks and he was very helpful. We were there 1 month. The only issue was the condition of the last 1.7 miles of road to the house, as it was rough. Also, the city was doing culvert installation and we were diverted to a secondary road routinely. However, this clearly was temporary.

On hotter days, an air conditioner would have been helpful, even though there were lots of fans.

The location was scenic and relaxing. Lots of room in the house; 3 floors. We enjoyed the deck and beautiful surrounding scenery. The lake, if you have a boat, is 6 miles of pristine water.
