Grove House is quiet in a very safe village. Under ground parking access to the apartment is easy access and safe. The local shops include SPAR and 2 lovely coffee shops and a beauty salon. They are only 4 minutes walk away. The AVIVA Rugby stadium is 20 mins walk. RDS where the web summit is held is 15mins away. Superb Location. If you require buses they are straight outside the door and taxis are always available.

There are 2 bedrooms - on Master Ensuite and the other a large double room with the option of changing into a twin room.

The Bathrooms were redesigned with power showers - Beautifully designed and spacious.

The best feature is the large balcony overlooking the Dublin Mountains - Ideal for BBQs - the spacious living and dining room takes all its light from the large balcony doors -

The kitchen is relatively small but has all the mod cons of a modern kitchen and its bright with a large window overlooking the balcony - new oven - Nespresso coffee unlimited, every pot and pan that any good cook would require!

What makes this block of apartments stand out on there own is that there are only 10 properties per block - built in the 70's they are one of the largest apartments on the market so the interior space is generous and well designed.

We love to travel. We lived in Hong Kong, Australia, Dubai and the USA. We have now settled in Ireland in whats known as the Garden of Ireland! Our Apartment is in the Centre of the city and we often stay there when we visit Dublin as its so central to everywhere and it also gives us a chance to see if its got all the essentials travellers require when they come to visit. We have a dog and 2 kids, one studying in UCD and the other still at High School so live is busy. We love to play golf and walk the mountains with the dog. We live on Powerscourt Golf course which is well worth a visit if you are a golfer or its great for a walk too and It is right beside Powerscourt Gardens which have been voted the top Gardens in Europe to visit.

Grove house is an owner occupied apartment block - each block has only 10 units so its quiet and peaceful with uninterrupted views of the Dublin Mountains. The large balcony makes it unique in Dublin and given its south facing you have the pleasure of the sun all day..Thats when it shines! Even though its meant to rain a lot in Ireland you always get a pocket in the day where its great for a walk or run!

What makes this apartment unique

I just wanted to say hello and to thank you for your kind review. I did

We so enjoyed our visit to Ireland - the land and the people are

absolutely beautiful and our lasting impression began with our wonderful

hostess!! Cork and Killarney were great and the Cliffs of Moher were

breathtaking. The weather got cold in Scotland but we had great hosts

there too and enjoyed our time. Amsterdam is very interesting but wasn't

that impressive to me except for all of the cultural attractions.



I hope to get back to Ireland someday - thank you so much for your

incredible attention and hospitality.

Notes:
The location is perfect safe residential area and only a 25 minute walk to the centre of the city. Buses straight outside the door and only take 15 mins to reach centre. Restaurants and local convenience store only a walk away. Dundrum shopping centre, the largest Shopping Centre in Ireland is a direct bus ride only 10mins away. The RDS is only 10 mins walk away and the Rugby AVIVA Stadium is 20 mins walk away. The area has lovely walks along the Dodder River and there are plenty of safe parks at your door step.

Great Location, Great view

We stayed at this apartment for 10 days. Vonny was there to greet us and was lovely. In our opinion, we think that the view is the best part of this condo. It is in an older building quietly tucked in off a main road. The

Location is walkable to the Lucas line and so it is very convenient to get to town. Also the town of Ranelagh is within immediate access and there are many shops, restaurants and groceries. The apartment is open and airy and well equipped. Also, we really appreciated the fruits and basic supplies that Vonny left for us on arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

Charming flat with easy access to the sites

This rental was perfect for our week-long visit from the United States. It was clean, modern, and roomy. Oh, and magnificent views! Vonny was friendly and helpful. We hope to come back!

We had a great time!

My husband and I brought our two kids (ages 4 and 7) to Dublin for vacation and to meet family. Vonny's apartment was perfect for us! The kids shared a room which they loved.

The location was great. We walked to the Luis station to go to city center several times which was very convenient. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit!

Enjoyed Dublin with comforts of home.

We enjoyed our stay in Milltown. The special touches that Vonny did to welcome us were great! The main way in and out of town was the tram which was convenient and about a mile walk from the apartment. We saw all of Dublin, did a trip to the Cliffs of Moher and went to the seaside community of Dalkey.

The Grove House apartment was lovely. Very spacious and well equipped. We would stay again.

The apartment sits in a quiet suburb of Dublin. Easy to get everywhere on public transportation.

Well equipped with everything we needed. There were even a few basics to get us started in groceries. Even a bottle of wine. Nice touch.

The rooms are spacious and airy.

The owner could not have been more helpful.

The only thing holding back a perfect rating, is that it could use new carpeting.

We would definitely go back.

Owner's Response: Thanks Sharon - you are welcome anytime! The Carpet has been changed unfortunately there was a leak from a garbage bag in the front hall by a very apologetic guest 2 days before you arrived! thought the rug at the hall would have been sufficient to cover it up!

Great apartment in a nice clean, quiet building just outside Dublin.

Apartment was as advertised - large, clean and quiet at night. Located a short distance from downtown - $10 cab ride, the apartment was perfect for relaxing in after a day of exploring in Dublin. Vonny was helpful in coordinating the stay and would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to visit Dublin.
