• If you are at Trapani airport, take the A29 motorway towards Palermo and then take the Balestrate exit (40 minutes).
• If you are at Catania airport you must reach Palermo and then you must take the A29 motorway towards Trapani and then take the Balestrate exit.
When you have arrived at the junction of Balestrate, turn right and continue along Provincial Road 17 and continue for about 1.8 km and you will find the entrance on the right. If you have a GPS simply type "Villa Velez Partinico" to reach the destination.
The villa is a destination for Italian and foreign tourists attracted by the pristine beaches of the coast that goes from Palermo to Trapani, from the hinterland full of charm and history.
There are many destinations within easy reach such as Alcamo and Castellammare del Golfo, Segesta and Erice, the beautiful sea of Scopello and San Vito lo Capo, and the nearby Palermo just 50 km away.
A few miles from the hotel there are beaches, free and equipped: Balestrate, Alcamo Marina and Castellammare del Golfo.
Among the possible excursions one of the most suggestive is undoubtedly the tour of the Gulf of Castellammare by motorboat that allows you to admire the Zingaro nature reserve (1600 hectares of Mediterranean vegetation, rich in dwarf palms, agaves and about 40 different species of birds) and faraglioni and the tonnara of Scopello surrounded by Norman towers.
Near Trapani other half is recommended Erice, one of the best preserved historical cities in Sicily. From Trapani, also reachable by train, fast hydrofoils and motorboats are connected several times a day with the Egadi islands: Favignana, Levanzo, Marettimo and Pantelleria and Linosa.
In less than an hour's drive on the highway you can reach Segesta, Calatafimi, Mazara del Vallo and the Phoenician island of Mozia. On the western side, always within easy reach, you can reach the famous Norman cathedral of Monreale with its impressive Benedictine kiosk, the city of Palermo and finally San Vito Lo Capo.
