Greer is a gem in the Arizona White Mountains. Spectacular views of the meadows and mountains surround Greer at an elevation of 8,500 ft. You have immediate proximity to hiking, fishing, mountain biking and skiing/snowboarding/sledding at Sunrise only 15-20 minutes away.
Come relax in our 2 acre private, family owned lodge built with hand hewn logs from the local forest. The Lodge is built over the old Greer rope tow to the top of the ski slope. The Little Colorado River runs near both sides of our property about 200 feet away. Enjoy the cool mountain air with all the wildlife that call Greer home. We have wild turkeys, Elk, Deer and beautiful birds visiting our property. Hear the Elk bugle while sitting on the large deck overlooking the pond full of large Rainbow trout. Enjoy hot chocolate with the fire blazing while it is snowing.
Xbox with game, free Wi Fi and direct TV.
Large rock fire pit to enjoy smores or roast a pig. Private gated entry lined by trees. Our private well has the best water we have tasted. Several propane BBQ grills are available.
Toy cabin is available for guests. See pictures.
Any season in Greer is a magical experience. In the summer you'll enjoy green meadows and lush forest of Ponderosa Pines and Aspens. The temperatures rarely exceed 76 degrees. The beautiful fall colors peak in October and it is the best time to hear the Elk bugle. Winter brings great skiing, snowboarding and sledding which is only 15-20 minutes away. Enjoy the snow from the large windows by the fire while enjoying hot chocolate. Spring is one of the most beautiful times when the landscape is in bloom.
Various wildlife of the White Mountains can be seen regularly throughout the year so bring your camera.
Get your horses out of the heat! Enjoy riding through our private easement that connects directly to various established National Forest trails. We have a 4 stall stable with automatic watering, corral, tack/feed room and a fenced pasture area.

About Edward & Robin Stein
We have been visiting Greer for years. We retired and bought a house with guest house in the Virgin Islands, but still wanted our White Mountain retreat.
Edward & Robin Stein purchased this Lodge in 2014
Why Edward & Robin Stein chose Greer
We fell in love with this property because it is beautiful, peaceful, with a private easement to the National Forest. The lodge is made from authentic, local rounded logs. The pond is full of trout and is located right off the large back deck. There is a 4 stall stable with corrals and pastures. You enter a private gated entry lined with Aspen and pine trees that flow into the two acres property.
What makes this Lodge unique
Bring your horses and enjoy our private easement to the National Forest. Rent one or both cabins with or without the horse stables.

Beautiful property, excellent location
We enjoyed the cabin towards the end of summer, 2017. The location is prime within walking distance of Molly's Butler's, and the cabin itself is in pristine condition. A beautiful getaway from the daily grind and heat of Phx.
Five star property
Great place, wonderful owners
Peaceful, Relaxing and enjoyable!
We Loved the Cabin and it's location. Very private and had breathtaking mountain views. It was close to fishing ponds and lakes. Owner's very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed the back patio overseeing the mountain tops and all the different type of trees this property had surrounding the property. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed to make it a Great trip.. We look forward in going up again next year.
Comfortable home for a weekend with friends, kids and dogs.
We enjoyed Father's Day weeekend at this house. Great location, close to town so we could walk. There is a kids cabin separate of the main house. It's good for really young kids. My six year old was happier playing with the x-box in the main house. The back porch was great for afternoon cocktails while our 13 month old roamed the area. There is a large fire pit by the kids cabin. While we were there we had to get the permission of the fire department.
If you are wanting to fish, I recommend checking the stocking calendar before booking. The river hadn't been stocked for two weeks prior to our trip and wasn't scheduled to be stocked until the Monday after Fathers Day.
awsome place to get away owners are incredible
first we would like to say Ed and Robin the owners are the nicest people you will ever meet. they were like seconded parents to our kids. the property is incredible with its own lake with big trout. But there not for catching just feeding. there is the little Colorado river just about 200 yds. are kids caught about 20 small trout. the beds are very comfortable and all the beds and linen were provided. it has a real fire place in the living room and is very cozy area to gather. the cabin is clean and bug free. the property is about 2 acres with lots of area for kids and dogs to play. The patio deck is huge over looking the lake. the setting is the far south end of Greer about 1 mile from Molly Butlers rest where the food is incredible we are from Phoenix AZ and know great food and this place is right up there at the top. we would highly recommend this cabin to any one and will be going back.
So glad you had a good time. That is always our goal. Looking forward to your return visit.
Awesome Cabin Awesome Owners!
Me and 8 friends rented this place for a relaxing girls weekend in July 2015. We were all very impressed with the beautiful, and very clean, cabin. Ed was so nice and helpful. He loaned us his fishing poles and built us a fire in the outside fire pit. This is a great place for a relaxing weekend. We hiked, fished, hung out on the deck...had a great time! Can't wait to go back!
