The Eastern Market apartment enjoys a terrific address at 6th and A Street SE, Capitol Hill. Accommodations include a Queen sized bed, Double sized sleeper sofa and 2 Twin beds. There are 2 bathrooms, a modern kitchen, laundry facilities, wireless internet, and TV with cable. This apartment can be divided into a smaller studio, so the layout is unique. Entry using the private entrance from the front of the building, brings you into a large room with living and dining area in the front. The compact, modern kitchen is off the living area. A sleeping area with Queen bed is at the back of this first room separated from the living/dining area by a screen. The first bathroom is opposite the sleeping area. A doorway off the sleeping area, opens to a small hallway with the second bathroom, then the back bedroom with 2 twin beds, arranged head to head along one wall. There is a small outdoor patio off this bedroom.
We are a 4 block walk to the Eastern Market Metro station, accessing the Blue/Orange/Silver lines. What you can't walk to from the front door is easily accessible using the Metro. Our neighborhood offers numerous restaurants, shopping, banking, and services. Grocery options include Eastern Market, Washington's oldest operating fresh food market, Harris Teeter, Safeway and several neighborhood markets.
For guests arriving to DC with a car, we can provide a visitor parking permit, valid for street parking in our immediate neighborhood. Don't worry if you don't have a car, they are not necessary here in the city. Beyond the Metro, there are several bus lines nearby, as well as Capital Bikeshare, Zipcar and Car2go services.
