You will be within walking distance of several restaurants and bars and very short driving distance to shopping and area attractions. Very clean and updated with full kitchen. Access to washers and dryers on 1st floor. Queen size bed in bedroom and a foldout couch that will sleep 2 more. Secure parking with gated entrance.

Right on the beach and a great price. The area is nice and the security of the area is great! The condo has nice updates furniture. The picture on the pages should be updated because some of the furniture has been changed out. My family and I had a great time and loved waking up to the ocean view.

Not the paradise we had hoped for

We had a quite a list of issues during our stay. Some were situational and wouldn't be experienced by all but added to our poor experience. First off cleanliness of the unit was great! The Sunbird is my go to vacation spot in pcb and I stay yearly. This unit has had a few updates but not as modern as my usuals. The furnishings pictured in the listing are not what was present in the unit. It appears not necessarily newer but comparable. The sliding balcony door made a poor seal and with moderate wind (common at the beach) made a loud whistling sound, I could also see this being an issue in the hotter summer months with letting the ac out. The ac unit is obviously just outside the bedroom and is very loud. I am a heavy sleeper and was woken up every time the unit came on all weekend. The fridge/freezer went out on Saturday of our Friday-Monday stay. All our food spoiled and had to be thrown out. The owner was contacted Sunday morning only for us to be told that the fridge was "new" so it wasn't possible for it to go out. She claimed she would contact maintenance and have them come up as well as keep me updated. No updates were ever received nor any signs of maintenance. We also informed her that there were large roaches present. We were told they weren't roaches and were common here. Also that we shouldn't have left the door open to let them in which we did not do at any point in our stay. If they are this common I find it strange that they have never been present in all my years of staying in the Sunbird. I understand things happen out of your control but it's all in how you handle the situation. I had to email the owner the day before arrival as I had not received the "welcome email" I was told. She did send door/gate codes but no other info. I finally received the check in time Saturday (our check in was Friday) but still no departure instructions leaving us guessing if we completed all our clean up tasks. Lastly there was some extensive construction to the unit next door. There was furniture and construction materials frequently making entrance to the condo more difficult. The icing on the cake was the constant use of a tile saw immediately outside our door until 10:40pm the last night of our stay. Signs are clearly posted throughout the property stating "quiet time" begins at 10pm. This may seem a petty overage but after listening to this for hours loud enough to not hear the tv or carry on a conversation we were looking forward to peace by 10

The unit was very nice--Couple of small items that I would have liked for the stay to have been better--There should have been a sliding screen for the door going to the patio--so we could sleep with the door open and not worry about bugs, etc. getting into the unit during the night. Couple of rugs on the floor would have been nice also. Other than these two minor items, was a great place to stay.

Nice condo disappointing checkin process

The condo was very nice, clean, & smelled awesome. I gave it 3 stars because I arrived at checkin thinking it was a front desk staff & it wasnt. I never received any check in info. I had to call Homeaway, stay on hold 20 minutes to get the owners phone numbers to call. I arrived at 4pm & couldn't get into the room until 7pm. I basically missed a whole day. Once I got them on the phone I received all the codes. This experience was very disappointing.
