We are native Seattleites currently living overseas. We LOVE the eclectic Fremont neighborhood with its wonderful shops, restaurants, walking trails and proximity to downtown.
Melissa purchased this apartment in 2014
Fremont has so much to offer. Besides the trendy shops and cafes, there are great walking trails, a fabulous Farmers' Market, fun festivals (Solstice and Oktoberfest) and gourmet restaurants. It is less than 10 minutes by car to downtown but there's no need to leave the neighborhood.
Very cute, nicely decorated condo in Fremont. Great location. It was easy to navigate around town from this great location. We would definitely stay here again. While it was too cold to walk. We were able to easily get to the wonderful restaurants, coffee shops and shopping areas in Fremont, Ballard, etc. the owner is very responsive, very easy to do business with.
The condo is comfortable, attractive an well appointed. More importantly, Lori and the rental team are attentive and on point. Even though it is tempting to ignore the 'about this condo' binder, review it. You'll find answers to questions and more.
Thanks again Lori for being so accommodating and for the comfortable stay.

Very clean, quiet building. We didn't see another tenant for the three days we stayed there.
Our check-in was easy - found the off-street parking readily (a bit snug if a large car), and the coded entry was just as we'd been advised. Everything is crisply clean and comfortable. Very accommodating for two parents and two adult "children" (one more comfy chair would be nice if room). We enjoyed the full moon and city view to help celebrate graduation!
Loved this place. We have stayed at many VRBOs. This one ranks very high. The condo is perfectly outfitted for travelers to be comfortable, meet every convenience, as well as having nice kitchen supplies. The view is awesome. Sitting at the table and looking out the big windows toward the city (and Mt. Rainier if it is visible that day) with coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening were a treat. The host/caretaker was super responsive when we needed something when we first checked in. Let her know via text, went out to dinner, and by the time we got back, she had already been to the condo to handle it. Really appreciated that.
Highlights during our stay that you might check out: Lunch in the Space Needle (need reservations), the Theo Chocolate tour (awesome!), Fremont Brewery and a walk to Gas Works Park, the fish ladder and the locks, UW Campus with cherry blossoms in bloom, and the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field (a must for aviation enthusiasts).
My family of 4 enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It is just as clean and stylish as it appears in the photos. We had good electronic communication with the staff before and during our stay, and we appreciated being able to store our luggage on-site since we arrived in Seattle hours before check-in. The location has a variety of bus stops between 1 and 3 blocks away that we used to get to and from downtown and the university district. We rode in from the airport on the Link light rail, with a transfer downtown to one of the bus routes that stops just a block from the apartment, and used public transportation for the rest of our stay. With apps (or just Google maps) for the bus routes, and Seattle's great public transportation, it was very easy to get everywhere we wanted to go with little waiting or confusion.
The beds are very comfortable, and we liked that we could configure the second bed for two twins for our teenagers. The bath has plenty of fluffy white towels, hot water, and shampoo/conditioner/soap. We didn't cook much in the kitchen, but it was well stocked with dishes, pots/pans, even plastic storage containers, and there were spices as well as ground coffee, creamer, and sugar. We appreciated the wifi and loved the view (even when it was rainy and gray).
We spent some time in the Fremont area on our arrival day, and the apartment is a short walk to several different groups of stores and restaurants. If you like chocolate, definitely take the time to visit the Theo Chocolate Factory store (so many samples!), and we found the hour-long tour very interesting (with more samples!).
We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
