Change furnitures that are ripped, update appliances. Condo terribly dirty. I had to buy products to clean. Need good chairs at the balcony. The property itself is good however not in a good care.
Went as a family with children, was very satisfied, no loud parties, lots of other families with children, felt safe and comfortable letting children (teenage) go to and from beach and also walking beach at night, tennis courts, basketball, volleyball, and restaurant all within walking distance. Overall was enjoyable experience
Condo was adequate for our stay. Towels in the bathroom were not nice. Very flimsy towels that are usually found in cheap hotels. We had to go purchase towels for the stay. Beds were comfortable and there was enough seating in the condo. I would stay here again but bring my own bathroom linens.
Been to the Beach Club before. My son was married there. This was a weekend of fun with both my kids and their families. Great time, Great place, Great fun.
This was our second trip to Gulf Shores and second stay at the Beach Club. We had previously rented a 3 bedroom in the Catalina building through Spectrum and had a wonderful experience but paid a bit more for it. This time we chose VRBO and saved a little money. The savings was nice, but I will say the accommodations lacked care and upkeep. There was paint chipping off walls or just partially touched up in various places, wallpaper was torn off in a few places, mattreses were old and soft and bedding - at least in master suite -needed updating. The living room area was nice and wood flooring a bonus. The kitchen area was not upgraded in terms of appliances and fixtures, but it had most of what you'd need to prepare meals etc. The kitchen table was a perfect size for our large family (7 of us) - but we would have liked to have bar stools for added seating. And last, the outdoor seating was comfortable but the wicker was worn in places and seating was limited. Given the size of the condo, there should have been additional outdoor seating. A small table and chairs would be a great addition to the property. Overall - a fair price - but to compete with other properties, it needs some work.
This is our 11th year staying at the Beach Club but this year made our reservations too late in the year and was unable to book through the Beach Club itself. Luckily I found this through VRBO and was able to still take my family of 5 to this gem. The property is great. It draws us back each year and sometimes several times per year. This particular 3 bedroom unit was great. It is not too high (6th floor) and not too low for the noise. The unit is on the end corner which gives great views and a constant breeze on the balcony. The furniture was comfortable and the beds were good for us. Only thing to make this trip 5 stars would be if the club / resort fees were included and the front bedroom would stay at a cooler tempeture as with the rest of the condo. (I'm not sure that anything could be done about the west setting sun on the room) We did have to call the property hotline about a chirping smoke detector. They promptly and courteously sent someone within the hour and took care of this. Thumbs up for an overall experience.
