Great property, safe neighborhood
Booking with Cynthia was very easy. She was accommodating and quick to respond when I had questions. The rental is equipped with two large beds and has three comfortable cots. There is plenty of space throughout the home. The neighborhood was safe, walkable, and quiet. It is very close to St. Charles and the trolley. The rental has a driveway for you to park your car which was a big concern for me as I did not want to deal with street parking and the hassles that it can bring.
Thank you very much Cynthia for renting your property to us. It filled the need for our get together at Mardi Gras! Would definitely rent from you again if the need arose.
A great place to stay in NOLA!
This house was very comfortable and convenient as we were there for Mardi Gras and it was an easy walk to the parade route. The owner was very accommodating and we enjoyed our stay. Great advantage having off street parking, too! We would definitely stay there again!
This is a stunning house in a perfect location.
Great Location and a beautiful house
Originally, I thought I might be too far away from the action on Bourbon Street but all the cheap booze and vomit get old fast so we spent a lot of our time in the neighborhood around the house. Everyone in the neighborhood is so nice and social. This house is a great chance to live like a local.
The Garden District Is Our New Orleans Destination
I have grown up visiting New Orleans and have always stayed in The French Quarter. As an adult with kids of my own I have continued to do the same. This trip we rented this home in the Garden District and it could not have been more perfect for our family. It's one block off of St. Charles and 3 blocks from Magazine St. Restaurants, groceries, and ice cream parlor right around the corner. The house is really nice and comfortable, with a nice backyard and sitting area. We rode the trolley up St. Charles to Carrollton, and down St. Charles to the river and The Quarter. We got to experience a whole new side of New Orleans that we never took advantage of before.
Our kids said to us, "dad forget The Quarter we're staying here when we come back". We would recommend this property to our family and friends. We will be back.
I brought my family to New Orleans for a long weekend before Mardi Gras and our home away from home could not have been more perfect. Beautiful lodging; outstanding, safe, convenient location; a true New Orleans home. Coffee on the patio, walk to Magazine and St Charles streetcar, and a taste of New Orleans history in the home. Thank you for a wonderful visit!
