About the Property
Comfortable 2 bedroom + an office home near downtown Cave Creek.
Two bedroom house one king size and one queen size bed in a quiet suburb of Phoenix near the last western town in the 'Valley of the Sun', Cave Creek.
Pool, barbecue, and patio are ideal for lounging and dining during most of the year. Dining areas under the mesquite trees or on the patio. Located 20 minutes from downtown Cave Creek where there is bull riding on Wednesdays and weekends for authentic western entertainment.
DAYS AT THE BEACH - Special excursion for January and February:
Included in the January and February rental is the option of an excursion to Rocky Point, Mexico (Puerto Penasco). You will stay in a two bedroom condominium on the beach with a magnificent, unobstructed view of the Sea of Cortez.
January & February are whale watching months. The whales return from Alaska waters to calf. Whale watching excursions are available.
This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the least known beach in the Americas.
The date in January is from 27 January to 30 January (Friday - Monday).
Yard and house are suitable for dogs and people.
It is easy southwest living.
The location is 6 miles north of the beltway (101) providing speedy access to Scottsdale, Phoenix for ball games, and Phoenix University Stadium.
Please NOTE: The pool is unheated. It becomes swimmable in April and warm in May. Summertime temperatures are in the high 80's.

About the owner: I am a persistent entrepreneur commercializing a technology for treating heart failure over the web. My background has a theme - technology. The industries range from lease finance to medical devices and systems. I managed a lease finance division at BofA. I designed, built and installed process control and administrative systems for large data bases. You can find me on LinkedIn as George McBride. My wife, Carole is a retired pre-school teacher known affectionately by hundreds of students as "Miss Carole". We are grandparents of boys and girls in the lower grades and high school. The picture is our 50th anniversary. We were married as children.
Why the Owner Chose Tatum Ranch, Cave Creek, Phoenix, AZ, USA:
We are empty nesters. The size of this house fits our needs nicely. This house is a manageable size. Zero maintenance means you are dead. The list of something to fix or improve is continuous. With a house this size these challenges are at least manageable. The location is a compromise. Our friends are scattered around the north side of the valley. The location is a “sort of” center. The 101 beltway’s proximity (6 miles) is efficient. For the spring training fans, the location is a compromise distance to most of the parks. In 2016 the kitchen had a complete work-over. The counters, appliances, and cabinets are new. I designed a "floating” island / bar for entertaining and food preparation. The island sits on large wheels for easy movement. The frame is welded stainless steel. It is indestructible (no maintenance). The back deck faces south. The winter sun warms the back deck. It is ideal for casual breakfast. There is a small TV in cabinet on the deck for the morning news or an evening ball game.

Our house is made for comfortable living. In the winter, the morning sun warms the sitting area on the patio where we sit with coffee. The beauty of the Arizona winter is endless sunshine. While the nights are cool, the sun makes every morning comfortable. Having lived in Cleveland and Pennsylvania I remember slate gray skies and never missed them - not once.
