Who wants s a hotel room where you have to watch the eclipse from the parking lot?! Our spacious lower level 2 bedroom, full bath apartment is on a quiet street just minutes from shopping or the freeway. Make it a trip and spend a day visiting some of the amazing attractions in the area like Grand Targhee, Island Park, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone National Park, St. Anthony Sand Dunes, Yellowstone Bear World, or even the local drive in movie theatre! Our large yard is more like a park with a swing built for adults, large in ground trampoline, wooden play set, large sandbox, fire pit, climbing done, volleyball net, tether ball and a large grass area just for running around. Memories are sure to be made!

We will include up to 6 authentic made in USA eclipse glasses

Self-contained with a private entrance and side yard ,the apartment has an open floor plan with the living room leading to the full sized kitchen and dining area. Each room has a closet and adjustable heater to make sure you are comfortable.

The living room has two pull out sofas. The larger one can sleep two and the oversized chair has a twin size mattress. There is also a twin roll away mattress available.

In the “blue” room there are two XL deep 12” twin mattresses that can easily be pushed together make a true king sized bed. The room sleeps two and has plenty of floor space for additional beds if needed.

You can pack light and wash your dirty laundry with our laundry room. There is an iron and ironing board available as well.

Further down the hall is the bathroom. It offers an oversized curved bathtub and curved curtain rod, tiled floor, modern subway tile surround, marble vanity and soft close drawers.

Around the corner of the hall is the other room with a queen bed that can sleep two.

The entrance to the apartment is on the south side of the house through a private side yard.

We live upstairs and most likely will be around though our presence is not needed to access the apartment. We will generally keep to ourselves but would love to offer any advice or help in anyway with your stay. We are a kid friendly home.

Each house on the street sits on 2 acres only on the west side of the road. It is an established neighborhood just a few miles North of town.

About Property Manager/Owner

Our names are Alan and Jane. We moved to the area to be close to Alan's parents after they retired. We found this wonderful house a few miles away. It was used as a daycare by the original owners, but was left vacant for several years prior to us purchasing it in 2012. Since then, we have put a lot of love and care making the house a home for our 4 young kids.

We gutted the daycare down to studs and bare wall and created our "beach house" apartment. We have enjoyed the ability to offer the unit to people from all areas of the even from other countries.

We love the outdoors, spending time with family, and working on projects around the home. We look forward to mor visits. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help make your stay enjoyable!

So happy we found this little oasis

We had been traveling around for several days and staying in lots of hotel rooms. I was at first very frustrated I couldn't find a hotel room in Rexburg, and thought we would have to stay all the way down in Idaho Falls, but then was so happy when I thought to check for a VRBO place and this one popped up. Our family of 4 truly enjoyed spreading out for a few days, sleeping in separate rooms on comfy beds, being able to cook some meals, watching a giant big screen tv, and doing a few loads of laundry made all the difference in our trip. It was nice being in a country setting, yet so close to Walmart and the BYUI Campus. The couple who owns the property were very nice getting us settled and then being available to answer some questions for us, yet giving us all the privacy we desired. If you are looking for a little home away from home, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Great place

We had never done a vacation rental like this so were a bit concerned about how it would work. The owner was fantastic easy to talk to, showed us around answered our questions and was available if we needed anything. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. These people go the extra mile to make you comfortable. If we are ever that way again, we'll definitely stay with them again. Great price for the amenities offered too!

This location is awesome. Great location close to anything you are gonna need. The owners are extremely personable, and make your stay really comfortable. The living space is more than enough for 4 men to stay comfortably without tripping over each other. A+

Great place to stay! Beautiful countryside location. The house was very comfortable, clean and roomy. I loved the kitchen and the big screen TV. Great owners: very helpful in finding fun local attractions. We definitely will keep this on the list of places to return too.

Nice lodgings

The unit was in great shape with several wall heaters to add a nice touch. Owners were friendly and accommodating. I give this lower than a 5 rating because of the surprise extra person fees. If you actually bring more than 4 people (despite showing that it sleeps 8 people), you will be charged fees which are not mentioned in the rental price, and you spend more than you were planning to.
