A wonderful basecamp for exploring and relaxing in Radium Hot Springs
About Sarah Paulsen
Hi! I am Sarah - I love the outdoors - hiking, snowboarding, boating, fishing, canoeing/kayaking, cross country skiing. Radium has been the perfect base camp for our family adventures. I grew up vacationing in the village and many of my fondest memories include coming here to relax and play. Our four children also love coming to Radium and frequently suggest moving here! We currently live in a small town in rural Alberta.
Why Sarah Paulsen chose Radium Hot Springs
My dad built the house in the 90's- designed to be a place to escape together -- to really cement family time. This home did just that. The location has been perfect: it is in a quiet neighbourhood, but close enough to all the amenities and attractions that keep a family entertained.
What makes this House unique
We love the Bighorn sheep and deer that wander through the yard! The location is really ideal - it backs onto the golf course, so is super peaceful, but is just a 5 minute walk from the grocery store! We love the extra space as well. It is so fun to be together as a family, but still be able to spread out! The three decks on the back of the house are also a nice touch!

Wonderful clean spacious house...
A lovely holiday house in the mountains.
It was a blast! The property was immaculate and the instructions for its use clear and detailed. We had lots of room for sleeping and conversation with as a well equipped kitchen. The basement patio as well as a couple of balconies all faced the sun from mid morning to dusk and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The scenery was of course awesome and the famous hot pools were a couple of miles up the road - but for us the big thing was the nearby golf course and its brethren up and down the valley - yes, we were there for golf, six days by 18 holes - and with the glorious weather we did it. Only a couple of speckles of rain once or twice during our games. We will undoubtedly be trying to come back next year itineries permitting.
Thank you so much. I'm glad you got to enjoy the sunshine and the scenery (and the golf). I hope you will consider our home next year. :) Sarah
Terrible mattresses & Futons. Old, hard and not comfortable and they all need to be replaced. Only complaint but that’s why we were there “to sleep”
Hi Lynne. I appreciate your feedback. We will test the mattresses out ourselves this summer and work towards replacing them! It's tough to please everyone - in fact, some people have declared the beds "the most comfortable ever". That being said, I do take your comment seriously! Thanks again for choosing our home.
Great location and 0erfect for a large family.
Thanks for your review, Richard. I hope you will consider our home again in the future. Sarah
Beautiful home in a quiet culdesac overlooking the golf course.
What a great place to relax! Wonderful for friends or family gatherings. It was nice to have 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms was perfect for us. Loved the wildlife, the Bighorn sheep, roaming around the neighborhood.
Radium Hot Springs is home to the world famous hot springs. The large pool has long known to be therapeutic and healing for many. It is the perfect spot to recuperate after a day of adventuring in the mountains. There are many lakes nearby and the Columbia River is just minutes away. Enjoy long hikes or bike rides and let our home be your base camp for your adventures!
