About KATHLEEN C RUSSELL

I visited Bayfield first in 1980 and it captivated me immediately. I moved here permanently in 1984 and started my real estate business. This is an incredible place to play, learn, experience and enjoy. Choose any season and you'll find plenty to do, if you're not just sitting in front of our favorite place - Lake Superior - soaking up the energy it offers.

KATHLEEN C RUSSELL purchased this condo in 1986

Why KATHLEEN C RUSSELL chose Bayfield

Bayfield Crossings was originally the Roundhouse for the railroad in Bayfield. This was the end of the line for the Chicago-Omaha-Northwestern Railroad, on which you could travel from Bayfield to Minneapolis/St. Paul & other Midwest cities. Built in ~1898, the building has just 2 upper residential condos and a main floor Sailboat Charters office. The location is right across from the beautiful Apostle Islands Marina, 1 short block to Bayfield's main street, 2 blocks to the Madeline Island Ferry. Quiet location, easy access to everything Bayfield!

What makes this condo unique

On the flat downtown blocks of Bayfield, the condo is at the corner of First St. & Manypenny Avenue, with no hill to climb to get to dining, galleries, shops, waterfront activities, etc.
