Our quiet home is 1 block and a walk through Kalama park to the beach. Our beach is much less crowded that Kailua or Lanikai and much better to just relax on.

Our home is unlike many others in Kailua. Built 10 years ago, our property is situated in quiet flag lot, not on the road like many others around us. Our home is built to catch the trade winds from the east, Now a Target, WholeFoods and local grocery nearby. Enjoy our luxurious, beautiful Kailua oasis. Our home is also 2 walled construction, unlike others around us. This keeps the house much cooler and enjoyable, most single wall and 2 floor houses here are unbearably hot. Enjoy your vacation in our rental cool, not sweating it out.
Our price is firm as we live here and would be leaving the islands during your rental.
Hello from the Kowal Family :) My wife and I moved here from Seattle last year. I sold a small business in 2006 and looked for YEARS to find a place here in Hawaii. When I saw this house, I knew it was the one I wanted to live in forever.
My wife is from Bulgaria, and I grew up and still have family in DC. So we occasionally make the 1/2 the world trek with our daughter Christina off the island. We are trying our hand renting the house out, hoping to get a few families who love our house as much as we do!

Our home is probably the quietest property I saw in 4 years of looking on this island. We are on a flag lot, under a huge monkey pod tree. We also have bananas, shower trees, and various other plants in the garden. It is new build (so more than 1 wall, makes a huge difference in comfort and not something you find on most houses here). I put solar panels on (go green!). Our house is perfectly situated to catch the tradewinds. Walk to town, walk to bars/restaurants, walk to the beach!
By renting our house, that is OUR ACTUALLY LIVED IN home (not from a rental agency/property management group) you can use a variety of outdoor toys(surf, boogie board), top of the line and tons of kitchen gadgets (sous vide, mixer, steamer, pressure cooker, crock pot, top notch pots/pans, coffee grinder etc..). Big green egg grill and charcoal provided I think will find we have everything to make your vacation elegant and luxurious.
this is the perfect home to relax. Modern facilities. Gorgeous layout. Walk to perfect beach. Walk to town for restaurants and shopping.
We are a couple with a toddler. Porch fantastic for relaxing. Kids can play in yard.

We come to Kailua every year and our extended family usually stays in some pretty great houses. Grandma and Grandpa, our kids and us have stayed on the beach, in Lanikai, etc.. We will be rebooking here, it is so quiet and central. No Lanikai traffic to deal with. And you can walk to Kailua/Lanikai beach in about 20 minutes.
Eddie and Kalina are really great hosts and their house is wonderful. I think it is the best rental in Kailua!!
