quiet dead end street

Actual address is Sherrills Ford, NC, I misspelled it. Also the google maps icon is about 1 inch lower than actual property. You can see the boat ramp, seperate jet ski docks(white) and at the end of property, that sticks out further than the others on the map, is the boat slips with over the water deck and a pontoon on one side, I am trying to edit this on the site but can't find the EDIT PLACE, Sorry. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, with open floor plan. 2 bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs, 1 bedroom downstairs with adjacent family room. kitchen remodeled in 2014 with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. large deck off house with nice stainless steel grill overlooking the lake. large level yard nicely landscaped. large dock area for sitting, swimming, sunbathing, and fishing. Dock your boats and jet skis. There is a seperate 10x10 dock with 2 jet ski floats. We Are located on a dead end cove, NO wake area, nice and quiet. but centrally located to all water access areas with no low bridge restrictions restricting a big boat or sail boat. I will do all I can to make sure your visit is GREAT and be available to help in anyway. THANK YOU.

I have been enjoying Lake Norman since 1990. Been fortunate enough to finally buy a place after renting a second home on Lake Norman for 13 years since 1990. I have been self employeed since 1980 but with all this said I am all about representing anything I do as honest as I can. I will not sugarcoat or mislead anyone to benefit me getting a rental. I want everyone to enjoy the lake like I do.

Why Mark Alexander chose Lake Norman

Quiet dead end cove. Quite dead end street. Not a bunch of boat traffic. Has jet ski docks, 2, seperate from the boat dock. No bridge restrictions, in and out, limiting your boat size. 2 seperate driveways with lower drive having a boat ramp. Plenty of parking. I want everyone to enjoy the lake and all it has to offer like I do.

What makes this house unique

Nice level yard to lake and docks. Dead end street and cove restricting traffic and noice. Central location. No middle men or vacation companies. Deal with me, the owner, on any questions you might have. No boat restrictions.

We were down for a biz/vacation stay. The location was perfect, house perfect. The boat ramp wasn't useable because of the lake level being down (the owner informed us of this before hand) but the public landings were within 3 miles so it all was perfect. A great stay and time.

Mark's place was exactly what we wanted - peaceful and beautiful.

Mark's place on Lake Norman was easy to get to and convenient to Charlotte and Mooresville. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Kitchen had all the equipment needed to cook and the outdoor grill was easy to use. The location was perfect for swimming and not far from where we rented a boat. It was a perfect place to get away and spend time on the lake.

Great Relaxing Week

We live local but we had friends come down from NJ. This was a perfect place to show them the quiet of Lake Norman. We parked our boat at the dock and swam with very little traffic going in and out of the cove. Mark was great to work with and was very accommodating to our schedule. We can't wait to do it again.

Great Fun Family Vacation!

Definitely worth the trip towing the boat from PA to NC to enjoy good times with family and friends! Very reasonably priced, great property to chill out! Plenty of yard space for the kids to run around and play games. Dock was large enough to accommodate our families and our 270 Sea Ray Sundancer. Great for spending the day swimming and paddle boarding in the quiet cove. Enjoyed getting to sit outside on the deck drinking a morning coffee. Plenty of space for two families utilizing the upstairs and downstairs. Everything is as shown and described. The place was clean and Mark was more than accommodating to get us settled into the place - thanks again for everything! Would definitely recommend to others to enjoy a great week on the lake at a great place!

"Perfect Relaxing Getaway"

I believe this is our 3rd time staying at this house and we love it there every time. It's starting to feel like our second home. The house is beautiful and it is located in a very nice quiet cove off Hwy 150 on a dead end street. There is not a lot of boat traffic, so the lake was perfect for swimming. It is also close to restaurants, boat rentals and state park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home to everyone! We will be booking it again in the near future.

Owner's Response: I get asked all the time, especially during the winter months here at the lake, why do you like going down there so much there's not much to do this time of year?????? We truly enjoyed our stay!! Lots of room for all of us!! The location was perfect. We enjoyed the big deck to grill out!! The quiet cove was easy to get to the main water & explore Lake Norman. We will be back!!

With the extension of HWY 16 and exit 36 off interstate 77 you have easy access to Charlotte and Hickory plus the mountains to. Both major roads are about 8 miles from our house. We are on a nice quiet dead end street less than a mile off hwy 150 that takes you anywhere you want to go. All pictures are current. There is also a 10x16 den area downstairs with black futon couch and flat screen. I am centrally located here and will be available for any questions or help in anyway I can offer making your stay nothing but the best. Lake Norman is the biggest man made lake in NC with over 500 miles of shoreline. Activities include boating, jet skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, and fishing. Lake Norman even hosts several professional fishing tournaments. Boat tours on the Catawba Queen 4 miles away. Lake Norman state park located 10 miles has a beach, bike trails, and hiking trails.

Notes:
During summer season the rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. If there are open dates closer to the days you request I will consider them. We are centrally located to many many activities. Also located on a level lot with two different docks, one for 2-3 boats and the other for 2 jet skis. We are in a dead end cove that has limited boat traffic and safer for swimming, fishing etc.because of the No Wake area. Also house is on a dead end street with two driveways and little traffic. Plenty of parking and quite safe area centrally located.
