Overview

About the property

We are PET FRIENDLY to your well behaved loved ones! Please let us know if you are traveling with your pets when you inquire about the property. We have a large yard with an outdoor picnic table and umbrella along with a couple of grills. We also have a basketball goal to shoot some hoops.

We recently purchased this cabin and have updated the bedding and linens - we are currently making some additional upgrades to furnishings.

The cabin is located in the Historic Area of Al Tahoe! This well maintained mountain cabin is nestled on a large 10,805 square foot corner lot. The 1,150 square foot 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin is located on a forested lot with beautiful trees, a few blocks from spectacular Lake Tahoe beaches and boardwalks, and just down the street from South Lake Tahoe’s newest public plaza - Lakeview Commons.

The cabin is a great location for all seasons, located 5 minutes to Nevada casinos at Stateline and within 2 biking minutes from many hiking trails, beaches, and amazing views of Lake Tahoe.

The home sleeps up to 6 adults plus 1 or 2 young kids (Bedroom 1 - King and futon, Bedroom 2 - Queen, Bedroom 3 - Queen). We provide a Pack N Play and high chair for the little ones. The home includes a gas fireplace insert, fast WIFI, two flat screen HDTVs, deck with table and chairs, washer and dryer, and a charcoal BBQ grill. The kitchen includes everything you need to cook meals during your stay - the fridge is a below counter size so a separate freezer is provided as well. Several fans are provided for summer months when needed.

Plenty of onsite private parking for up to 3 cars.

And if you read this far....we also offer early check in and late check out if we don't have it rented the day before or after....Just let us know!

This 3 bedroom cabin is the perfect rustic Tahoe retreat - close to all Tahoe has to offer.

*****We have 2 adult bikes for your use at no extra cost (located in the shed) ... saves you over $30 per person per day if you want to do some casual biking!*****

Why Scott Shirey or Rob Brueck chose South Lake Tahoe

Rob works 10 days out of the month in South Lake Tahoe and I have visited Tahoe for 20 years and we wanted a central location that was family friendly and easily walkable to beach and bikeable to stores and restaurants.

Comfortable cabin

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here while attending the Summer Spanish Institute at South Lake Tahoe Community College. Th cabin was in an excellent location, close enough to walk to the college every day and also within walking distance of the lake, restaurants, a bike rental and a great bike path. The kitchen and living area were small, but the cabin was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The location is very quiet and good for kids with lots of room to play outside. The weather was quite warm in the afternoons, but there were fans in the rooms to keep the air circulating. The nights cooled off very nicely. Rob was very prompt in responding to questions and concerns. We enjoyed spending time on the large patio area.

Perfect location and so much fun!

  • 5 of 5

The photos are accurate. We were here for a week (for a baseball tournament) - it was two adults, three teenagers and a dog. The longer we stayed here, the more we appreciated the location (and having an in home washer and dryer). It's on a quiet street, corner lot. Everything is comfortable. We appreciated the nice little touch of a basket of goodies on the kitchen counter. We were able to use the bbq almost every day and eat outside. The home is close to everything - walking distance to Lakeview Commons (a beach our kids liked), short drive to Safeway. I really liked that we didn't need to bring laundry detergent, showering items, towels - it just made our stay and packing easier. Every time I had questions, I would email the owner and he replied back quickly with answers. If we come back to Lake Tahoe, we'd love to stay here again.

Very nice cozy pet friendly cabin

  • 4 of 5

This is a very nice cabin. We had a great time here! It definitely is a home away from home. The property is big enough that we could enjoy snow playtime right there in the back yard! It's close enough to town that we walked over to Rite-Aid a couple of times for essentials we'd forgotten. The kitchen is stocked enough to cook just about anything. I cooked every day we were there! I would suggest adding a griddle to the kitchen inventory :-) It was great having Wi-Fi! The fireplace was also a plus for when we'd come back in after snowman building!! This cabin is not upgraded with lots of fancy pants frills but it is cozy and homey! I absolutely recommend this place :-)

Wonderful house in the perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

This home is amazing! It is located in the perfect spot, near the lake, close to skiing, downtown and shopping. We rode mountain bikes on the local trails and enjoyed the true charm of this home and beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend this cabin and am planning to book again soon!
