About the property

Swim, Bike, Hike, Ski, Play Or Just Relax At The Snowater Resort Mt Baker

Our condo is one of the larger units at Snowater. It features a fully stocked kitchen, a master king loft with a full bath, a second bedroom that sleeps 3-4 comfortably, and a queen sofabed in the living room.

The space is designed for fun with two flat screen TVs and DVD players for movies, board games and cards. We also have sports equipment like racquetball, ping pong, basketball, and squash. We have some equipment in our unit but more is available at the front desk for check out.

Snowater has 2 large rec buildings with two indoor heated pools, two hot tubs, a sauna, racquet ball courts, fitness room. There are also pool tables and ping pong tables. The club houses have wifi available when they are open 8 am to 10 pm. Property also has outdoor tennis courts, full basketball court, running trails, bbq pits, awesome river views

Near by: We are located in the Mt. Baker National Forest and literally the closest accommodations to the ski area and Artist Point! Chair 9 is a family-friendly restaurant and bar that is a two minute walk from the end of our driveway. They often have great live music on the weekends that brings in crowds from the surrounding cities and Canada.

The town of Glacier is about a mile away with great bakeries and restaurants. Forest service roads and hikes are all over and the Nooksack falls are right up the road.

About Sheri Baker

Mount Baker is one of most scenic and beautiful places to visit and play, I use any excuse I can to get up on the trails. I bought this property so that I can share my favorite place with the world.

Why Sheri Baker chose Deming

This property has something for everyone. While I am an avid hiker, backpacker, runner, and biker I also have loved ones that prefer to just relax. This property gives me a chance to spend time with people with various interests. We can play outside, stay in and read/watch movies, swim, or walk across the street and listen to live music. My favorite thing to do is wake up in the morning and walk the trail along the river to the town of Glacier for a scone and a cup of coffee with my dog. It takes about 30 minutes each way.

Clean, Quiet and Cozy

  • 4 of 5

My husband and toddler and I enjoyed a nice long weekend here for some fall hiking in the area. The condo is cozy, quiet and clean. We really slept well in the nice king sized bed, and we were SO grateful to find a Graco Pack and Play in the downstairs bedroom! My daughter slept very well in that room and we all had a great time. My daughter especially loved climbing up and down the stairs (which we don't have in our apartment). My only complaint is that there is no dining room table with chairs, which made it hard to feed our 16 month old as she is used to sitting in a chair for meals. But I can see that the space is maxed out and there isn't room for a table. Not a huge deal unless you're traveling with a child. Overall, we'd definitely stay here again.

Just what I expected

  • 4 of 5

Went here for a girls weekend with Grandma and my three girls. The kitchen was stocked enough, the beds were comfortable and the place was clean. We took advantage of both the rec room and the clubhouse. Both were great. My daughter was able to do school work at the clubhouse comfortably. The grounds were beautiful. We just didn't get to stay long enough.

Convenient compact condo

  • 4 of 5

Great location, immaculate, good beds and mattresses. Could use better lighting for reading in the main room. The price was super reasonable (shoulder season). Easy to communicate with the owner. Would recommend this place for a couple or a family. Lots to do, with a delightful walking path along the river, rec rooms. Would be nice to have WiFi in the unit, but there is a hot spot in one of the common areas nearby..

Great mountain getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Had a wonderful time in this quiet condo complex. It's off season and we visited mid week, so we had a peaceful stay and had the recreation centers basically all to ourselves! No cell service, but the wifi in the common buildings worked great. The pool, hot tub, and pool table were much appreciated in the rainy weather. The unit's kitchen and bathroom are small, but the place was very clean and had everything we needed, including a small movie selection. Can't wait to come back in the winter from some snow activities.

Great base camp for day hiking

  • 4 of 5

Lovely place! Probably best for 5-6 people as the pullout couch isn't too comfy, but otherwise it was the perfect spot for a weekend in the mountains. Thanks!

Mt Baker Resort Condo 208

  • 4 of 5

This is our second visit to Mt Baker Resort Condo 208, and our entire family had a wonderful, relaxing time. We took advantage of the facilities around including the swimming pools, racquet ball, table tennis, pool table, and had a wonderful hike on the horse shoe trail.

The owner keeps the unit very clean and well stocked, so we feel it is our home away from home. The place got a little warm on a couple of afternoons, but the fans helped a lot.

We look forward to our visit next summer!!

Thank you Sherri!!
