Brass Rail is one of Tybee's newer luxury gated complexes on the south end. There is on site security and offers 2 covered parking spots, elevators, 2 pools, and a hot tub. Property is 100 yards from beach and pier and convenient to many shops and restaurants.

The unit offers bamboo floor in living areas and bedrooms and tile in bathrooms. The kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Pots, pans, silverware and dishes are provided. Dining table seats 6 and there are 2 bar stools at the granite counter. Unit is tastefully furnished and offers WiFi and a sleeper sofa. Huge balcony offers rocking chairs, dining tables, chaise lounge and overlooks pool area.

Beds: 1 king, 1 queen, 2 twins, sofa bed

The master bedroom has a king size bed and offers a television. Master bathroom has a shower, jetted tub and his/her vanities. One guest bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has 2 twin beds. All bedrooms have a television and one has a DVD player. There is a second bathroom off of the guest bedrooms and a half bath in the common hall area. The unit is clean and nicely furnished.

The unit is reserved for family vacations ONLY. No large parties or prom groups allowed. The minimum age requirement to rent this property is 25. No pets and no smoking.

Great Stay!!!!

This was the best placed that I have stayed. The unit was clean and well thought out in design. The big patio was great. The location was very convenient to everything including the beach access. I recommend would recommend this location to anyone that is looking to vacation on Tybee Island. I will definitely stay there again.

Very professional

We had planned on fall break at this unit at Brass Rail. Unfortunately hurricane Matthew roared up the east coast and changed our plans. Tonya took time out of her busy schedule to call me and make other arrangements that fit my families needs. We looked forward to coming to this unit in the future.

TOILETT PAPER - AHHHHHHHH!!!!

Okay - just a little tongue and *cheek* ....but I have your attention - lol. Don't know what happened, and it really doesn't matter - was just a bit comical after a long trip to the Island, of course my wife needed to use the facilities.....guess what was not in place...yep. Fortunately - we did bring our own - ha ha.

ANYWAYS - what a great condo to rent for the week. It is well maintained, clean and in a very nice location with respect to the downtown and beach areas. It is spacious as the four of us had no problem not bumping into each other.

I wanted to make sure that I wrote about the internet wifi/router, as it was mentioned in a couple of previous posts. NO PROBLEMS and I even brought a WIFI adapter to use just in case (I'm geeky that way), and didn't need it.

ICE.....we use a lot of ice. Almost started to freak when ice wouldn't dispense out of the refrigerator door. Ice dispenser was froze up and had an ice jam. Simply follow the instructions on removing the ice bucket from the freezer compartment and use warm water to thaw the ice. Replace ice bucket in the freezer and you're back in the ice business.

The pictures and description of the property are very accurate. Although, you would almost think that you could get to the pool/hot tub area simply by exiting the huge and very nice patio. Not quite - you have to go out the front door, down to the parking, exit the parking to the side walk though the secured gate/door, walk 30ish feet to another secured gate/door to enter to the pool area. And that's another thing, not that we've ever felt unsafe at Tybee Island - we felt very secure/safe in this complex as everything is coded including the parking AND the condo door - no keys to misplace! There is even video surveillance.

I had a silly question to ask of Tonya, when we arrived - dialed her phone number and low and behold - she answered! lol

Anyways - thank you Tonya, for providing a wonderful escape to Tybee Island. I would highly recommend this property for your stay on the Island. Hope to be back next year :)

Just as Described, Great for Family Vacation

This condo was very spacious, clean and had all the amenities as described. My husband and I were vacationing with our two teenage grandchildren and this met our needs very well. Everyone had there own bedroom and there was a nice master suite for my husband and I. The living room and dining area easily accommodated all of us for our meals and evening activities. We very much enjoyed the space including the large patio and grill. The patio is adjacent to the pool and hot tub area and there are two balconies directly above the patio so unless you are looking for privacy, it was ideal. We found that we could see and hear those on the balcony above us and everyone at the pool pavilion. So we did not feel that the patio afforded us any privacy. This condo is very conveniently located on the Island and we were able to walk and bike with ease. Also a great location for venturing into Savannah. The walk to the beach was short and easy. The only issues we had were related to the internet service and the lack of kitchen/cooking items. We tried unplugging and resetting the internet router several times but never did get it to work. The kitchen was well stocked with basic items but if you want to do a lot of cooking or cook for more than one or two people, you would be disappointed in the pots and pans and other items that are available. Overall it was outstanding and we very much enjoyed and appreciated this very nice rental. We would recommend this wholeheartedly to a small family looking to enjoy Tybee Island.
