About Heidi and Vince

Back in the nineties, before the days of Revelstoke Mountain Resort, we fell in love with this wonderful city and its friendly people. After exploring almost every ski area in Western Canada with over 1000 vertical feet (there were 35 of them at that time), we met truly inspiring people at many great community-run hills, and Revelstoke was no exception. We've been in the vacation rental business for decades. Now we want to make it easy for other families to enjoy the beauty and warmth of Revelstoke and this spectacular resort.

Heidi and Vince purchased this studio in 2012

Why Heidi and Vince chose British Columbia Rockies

We chose this particular spot because of its proximity to Revelstoke Mountain Resort, then custom-designed and purpose-built a vacation rental in harmony with the official community plan and the neighbourhood, to provide adaptable private space for families and groups.

What makes this studio unique

When the logistics are easy to manage, you have more time to relax. Walk to the gondola, helicopter pad, restaurant, or day spa. Treat your high-tech equipment with respect, and experience the difference a professional-grade boot dryer can make to your day on the mountain. Start and end the day on your own schedule, even it is different from everyone else's, with no need to arrange a ride. If you've ever booked more than one hotel room, Chalet Revelstoke may be exactly what you're looking for.

Incredible on so many levels!

  • 5 of 5

Well it's been 4 months now since I stayed at Chalet Revelstoke, meant to write this review months ago but procrastination got the best of me.

First impressions when you pull up to the chalet for me were "Wow, I can't believe I get to stay here", the place was beautiful on the outside and didn't disappoint when we stepped inside. The layout is genius, great for multi-family/couple use. The owners were incredibly accommodating, we had 2 kids staying at the chalet with us and they were very well set up with booster seats, playpens, dishware and even a gate at the top of the stairs, it made settling in very easy.

Unfortunately during my stay I sustained an injury and was unable to enjoy skiing but Heidi and Vince (owners) were incredibly kind, they checked in with me and offered to help in any way that they could, they definitely went above and beyond.

I cannot wait to return to this property!

Perfect location. Well appointed. Clean. Quiet.

  • 5 of 5

We have rented lots of ski accommodations over the years and this is definitely one of the best.

The proximity to the gondola base is superb and yet is in a quiet, secluded setting.

The owners have put a lot of thought into the property which made for a great place to call home after a big day on the hill.

Amazing Accommodation

  • 5 of 5

Everything about our experience with this property and it's owners was excellent. In fact I would say the best service and overall experience of anywhere we have stayed and that is saying a lot.

The space is very well layed out. We were very much at home here. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were amazingly quiet, kitchen was fully stocked and we never found a moment where we were without anything. For the winter adventurer, the boot warmers and ski/board racks in the garage were a very pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

The property is also just a short walk from the Revelstoke Mountain Resort Village and Gondola.

We were also very impressed by the amazing service of the owners. We had two babies with us and they provided playpens, booster seats, as well as a baby gate for the stairs. On our travel days we were also provided with road reports and our questions were answered very quickly. Well worth the money to stay here.

Perfect Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We booked the upper suite with 2 bedrooms to go skiing/snowboarding for 3 days. There were two couples, each with a 1 yr old. The walls are so sound proof that we could not hear the other couples baby crying at night from our room which made for a better than expected sleep. The Chalet is a short walk (up a hill and across the road from the Sutton Hotel) from the base of the ski. The owners were exceptional to deal with and made our stay as comfortable as possible. We will be making this a regular vacation stop.

Beautiful place and great people

  • 5 of 5

We booked the studio suite for four nights to go snowboarding. This chalet is walking distance away from the base of the ski hill. The owners go out of their way to ensure your stay is perfect. Providing us with road condition updates for our travel days and answering any questions we had. The chalet is beautiful and has everything you need. Makes you feel right at home. We will definatly be going back very soon.

A perfect spot!

  • 5 of 5

An absolutely wonderful find. We have never stayed at a spot that has such attention to detail - all centered around the guest's experience. We came in the spring for some mountain biking and rented the 1 bedroom suite with the garage. The suite was perfect, the kitchen is very well equipped, you could do a gourmet meal or just heat something up...your choice. Full laundry facilities, great if you are a little worse for wear after a hard day biking or skiing. The garage is designed to allow you to drive in with your bikes or ski carrier on top - but if skiing you are close enough to walk to the hill. The layout is really unique. It is private if you are renting individual spaces or the spaces can be combined to scale to your needs. Check with Heidi and she can explain it all. It is an awesome place, you really should check the place out, you won't be disappointed!
