Sea Country is furnished with 3 bedrooms - A master suite with a new queen mattress, a second bedroom with new queen mattress and third bedroom with a double bed. The sofa in the living area is also a sleeper sofa. There are two full baths upstairs – the master bath includes a shower and the hall bath includes a tub/shower combination.

For rainy days try a good beach read from our selection of books or play one of our great selection of games. The house is also centrally located among the most popular shopping venues including TJMaxx, The Christmas Mouse, several wonderful secondhand stores and the Tanger Outlet Mall.

Sea Country is located between the highways in Nags Head, NC at Milepost 10. It’s only a 3-4 minute walk to the beach via not one but two public beach access points with lifeguards on duty (during season).

Our home sits conveniently between the highways within short walking distance of Ben Franklin’s, NY Pizza Pub, Gallery Row and two grocery stores - Food Lion and Harris Teeter. During the busy season you will love being able to go to Food Lion via the backroad in the neighborhood - no need to deal with traffic on the bypass! There are several other restaurants within walking distance as well.

The location is ideal: A quiet, family-friendly street with limited traffic while still being close to the beach and the heart of Nags Head.

Super convenient location!

  • 5 of 5

Wow, this house was close to everything! It was off the path enough to feel safe with my kid in the yard, but we could either walk to everything or drive there without going on the main road. There's a back way to a lot of the stuff you might need, like the grocery store or the Morning View coffee shop where the lattes are excellent! The house was well-equipped, extremely clean, and had comfortable beds (I know, right? Beach houses never have comfortable beds!) If the weather had cooperated, our trip would have been perfect. Can't wait to visit again!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this feedback - we appreciate it! And yes, we love that you can take the "back way" and avoid some of the traffic to get to some conveniences. We look forward to having you back for another stay - hopefully with warmer weather this time! Thank you again!

Wonderful

Great stay for a group of 6. Easy access to beach, quiet neighborhood, but easy access to the main street for restaurants and groceries. Loved the porch, and appreciated all the stored beach chairs.

Wonderful weekend with longtime, dear friends!

  • 5 of 5

Sea Country reminded me of visits to Grandma's house. House was clean, well-maintained, and bed was comfy. Thank you! Location was perfect for visit with longtime, dear friends. Kill Devil Grill and Red Drum Tap House, both walking distance, had delicious seafood. The weather and close beach access were lovely. The nearby Seagreen Gallery was a treasure trove for souvenirs. Sea Country was a more memorable setting for our wonderful visit with our friends! (We traveled from Florida, Arizona, and Virginia.)

Owner's Response: Hi Sharon, Thank you so much for the review - and for recommendations on nearby restaurants within walking distance. We love the location for just that reason - lots of fun places within walking distance including two beach access points! We also love that you enjoyed the decor - it feels like a visit back to a warm, comfy farmhouse style home - and some of the decor was indeed passed down through our family! So glad you had a good stay and hope you'll come back! Amy

Can't Wait to Return to Our Home Away From Home!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay at Sea Country because we love the warm decor and fantastic location - we've been coming to the Outer Banks for years and now that we've discovered Sea Country, it's our go-to home when we visit. The new paint throughout the house is cozy and bright - we love it. Also love the updated laundry/bathroom on the first floor - it's adorable!

My favorite spot is the comfy swing on the front porch - you can spend an afternoon reading or just catching up with friends and family on the front porch. The house has everything you'll need - from comfortable beds to wifi and a Keurig. It's rare to find a beach home that's as well furnished and maintained as Sea Country and we know that from experience.

We went to the beach as often as the weather allowed and it's a quick walk. There are two beach access points within about a block and a half and they're both wide, established beaches. We bring our Collie-mix with us and he loves a walk on the beach. We also love to walk down to the Sea Green Gallery and Surfin' Spoon for frozen yogurt. Miller's Restaurant is also a great walk for breakfast or for a great seafood dinner. Our kids also like walking up to Ben Franklin to buy a souvenir or two every visit. :) I personally prefer an afternoon at the TJ Maxx and great thrift store right across the highway!

Local's tip: We like going to the Food Lion in the summer busy season because you can drive within the neighborhood to Food Lion without getting on the bypass. It's super easy and convenient. We also hit the Harris Teeter across the highway at the light (super close) when we wanted coffee (they have a Starbucks!) or something a little fancier. :)

Felt like home!

  • 5 of 5

We really loved this house. It was by far much cleaner than any other house we have stayed in at the OBX. All the antiques and decorative touches make you feel at home. The kitchen was very well stocked and completely organized. I definately would and will stay again!
