The Bellevarde Chalet Unit D - Ski In / Out, Private Hot Tub

Bedrooms 2
Half Baths1
Space 1,100 sq. ft.
Property type chalet
Minimum Stay 2 - 7 nights

About the property

2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 10

Come stay at the Bellevarde chalet at Big White Ski Resort located just 45 minutes from Kelowna. Ski in and ski out from this beautifully furnished, two-bedroom chalet. Enjoy your own private, outdoor, hot tub. This chalet is located in a quiet, chalet subdivision. It is fully equipped and supplied.

Summer Operations:

Please note that during the off season the guests are responsible for cleaning the chalet and getting it ready for the next guest to use. Also the hot tub is usually not available during the non-ski season. The hot tub can be made available at an extra charge since it will have to be emptied and winterized so that the pipes don't freeze prior to the start of the ski season. The guests would be responsible for the testing and maintaining of the hot tub's water chemistry during the off season but not during the ski season. Instructions for this will be provided.

Cozy chalet for a family stay in a ski in / ski out location

  • 4 of 5

Nice accommodation at a reasonable price if you do not mind being a long hike from the village center. Ski in / ski out works well, but to get to the village for shopping or to access amenities, you either have to walk for 15 minutes, or drive to the Happy Village parking lot, leave the vehicle there, and take the gondola to the village centre.

Nice open space concept gives your family a feeling of being together during meal preparation, dining, or resting on the sofa and lazy boy recliners in front of beautiful large windows with a view.

All amenities are there, like dishes, glasses, utensils, etc. Hot tub located on a terrace with a nice view. No barbecue, so we prepared our steaks in a fry pan, and finished them in the oven. It worked reasonably well. Washer and dryer comes handy to take care of your sweaty or wet ski wear. Two parking spot in included with your unit.

We stayed in a group of 7, and we had enough space for our apre-ski activities.

Rented this chalet for 2 nights for a staff Xmas party and everything was great. We had 8 people in the unit and have no complaints! Would stay here again

I'd stay here again

  • 5 of 5

Great place to stay! Beautiful little cabin, all the amenities a person needs. The hot tub was a nice place to relax after a long day snowboarding. The trail from the cabin to the lifts required unstrapping once along a flatter area, but the trail from Serwas Run to the cabin is a neat detour. Very short drive to the parking lot and Gondola to grab dinner at night. Good view of the sunrise out the window. Overall I would stay here again on my next trip to Big White.

Great place!

We stayed here for the weekend it was really. The kids just loved it which made us happy. The house was a neat layout. Jeremy and Ed are both really nice and easy to communicate with. The only problem was it was a little far to walk to town for us. But you can ski into town :)

Had a wonderful time. Will definitely book again.

  • 5 of 5

Had a great time. Town home was stocked with everything you need. Lay out of the town home was great for our group which offered just the right amount of separation. Loft and pull out couch upstairs and master bedroom and 2nd bedroom with bunks on the bottom floor. Lots of privacy for multiple couples or families. Private hot tub was great after a long day of skiing to sooth those aching muscles.

Only downside was not in close proximity to village. Had to drive to village. Easy ski down access to Ridge Rocket Express. Finding the way back was a bit difficult the first day. Second day was easy.

Worth every penny. Will definitely book again next year. Highly recommended.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review. We actually prefer being away from the village but totally get what you are saying. When we do go to the village we like to take the walking path that they have constructed through the forest and have lit at night. It's more or less level so you don't end up exhausted climbing up the hill. Another option is to take the free on-mountain shuttle. Thanks again for your review.
