About Jerry & Jodi Kerby

Raised in the area, we couldn't resist having a piece of 'home' to go back to and just get that, 'aahhh' feeling every time.

Enter Our Lake House at the main level off the parking area. The modern great room features vaulted ceilings, an open kitchen, dining & living area so everyone can enjoy the spectacular view and beautiful sunrises. The entire family can gather for dinner at the dining table that seats 8 & afterwards unwind in front of the flat screen TV with a bowl of popcorn. Beautiful hardwood floors compliment the home's character and add to the classic cottage atmosphere.

Just downstairs are two large bedrooms both with flat screen TV's, a half bath and a full bath with shower. The lakeside bedroom is ideal for families with small children & features a queen & single bed with pull out trundle. The rear bedroom offers a queen size bed and private half bath. The large hall features a writing desk for reading or games & opens to a spacious deck with umbrella table and chairs for outdoor dining that overlooks the lake.

At the lake level, you will find a screened in porch for lounging, relaxing and an afternoon nap. A large deck over the water and a permanent dock for your boat are exactly what you need to kick-off your next lake adventure. There is a 4 person pontoon paddle boat available for your use as well as a fire pit for evening campfires.

Our Lake House is just a short drive from the village of Hammondsport, The Coolest Small Town in America, where you can take a stroll around town & enjoy an ice cream cone, fresh baked goods from the bakery or the week-end Farmers Market.

During your stay, you can check out the antique shops or the wineries including Bully Hill, Dr. Franks, Heron Hill and plenty more.

If you're looking to rent a motor boat, there are several marinas nearby where you can rent one by the day or hour!

There's no doubt, you will love Our Lake House as much as we do and we are anxious to share it with you too.

Why Jerry & Jodi Kerby chose Keuka Lake

Growing up not too far from here & coming back to Keuka Lake each summer for family visits, we often felt that owning a house of our own on the lake was merely a pipe dream. Fast forward several years and our dream became a reality. We chose this cottage, as you will quickly see, because of the amazing sunrises, the spectacular views and the serenity that a small town can only offer. Whether we are here in the spring, the summer or fall, we have never been disappointed by the lake. From the ducks and ducklings that are regulars in the spring, the chipmunks and birds in the summer and the turkey gobbles you hear in the fall, Our Lake House is our home away from home.

What makes this cottage unique

You walk through the entry and close the gate behind you and suddenly, you feel as if you have escaped it all. Whether you are sleeping in the lakeside bedroom or in the living room on the pull out sleeper sofa, imagine waking up early in the morning to the smell of fresh brewed coffee watching the sunrise over the hills. Breathtaking! If you want to sleep in, escape to the back bedroom with a private bath. Afternoons can be what you want. Filled with fun and excitement or simply laying on the lounge chair with a good book. Grab a life jacket and paddle around the lake on the pontoon paddle boat - it's not like the others! Evenings? Spend them around the fire pit roasting marshmallows or playing cards on the screened in porch while you enjoy the glistening lights from across the lake. There is no bad view day or night.

Wonderful Cottage

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful home! The cottage was clean, well kept, welcoming, and made us feel exactly at home. The big windows overlooking the lake offered stunning views, and the fire pit and paddle boat were wonderful additions to make our stay feel extra fun. The location was right around the corner from downtown Hammondsport and local wineries. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We live in PA and our daughter was getting married in Hornell. We decided we wanted to rent a house on Keuka Lake so my daughter could get ready for her big day! The house fit are needs absolutely perfect! Upon entering the house I could see that it was as clean as a whistle! Everything was neatly in it's place along with a welcome bottle of wine. The house had everything you could possibly think of. I partically enjoyed the heated fan in the bathroom. Also that the bed linens were not on the beds, but placed folded so neatly on each bed. We also enjoyed the fire pit lakeside where there was pleanty of wood for us to use. My two daughter's slept in the room that faced the lake. My hope was that the morning of my daughter's wedding she would wake up from the sun rising over the lake. That is exactly what happened. Our experience staying at this house was wonderful....our only regret is that we wish we had more time to enjoy this lovely home!

Owner's Response: What a touching review! I am so glad that your daughters were welcomed with a beautiful sunrise to start her special day! We do not put sheets on the beds as we have found that we are never certain which room or bed a guest will prefer to sleep in and always want the guests to know that the bedding is clean for each guest. So glad that you elected to stay at our cottage and that it will be a part of your memory of this very special day. Jerry and Jodi Kerby

Nirvana on Keuka Lake

  • 5 of 5

Your lake house is absolutely wonderful! We were so impressed at the amenities provided and it seems you have thought of everything to make the guests comfortable. We especially enjoyed the ambiance of the front porch.

The house is very clean and organized with pleasant decor and comfortable furniture. We are talking about renting again next fall if we can syncronize our calendars!

A Perfect Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Jodi and Jerry's cottage was so charming, spotless clean, and was a great location. It was just the two of us enjoying a relaxing week. I was up early to catch the most beautiful sunrise I ever saw. Sitting out with my coffee each morning on the deck, and also the fantastic view from the living room was heavenly. Steve enjoyed fishing off the dock and catching lots of fish. We enjoyed the nearby lake front restaurants, wineries, Corning Glass Museum, Mark Twain Tour in Elmira, Hamondsport, etc.

Thank you Jodi and Jerry.

Very pleasant

  • 3 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at your cottage and the location on the lake. My friends were pleased with the accommodations. We especially enjoyed the screened porch and the fire pit. The only suggestions for improvement would be to supply more than one set of towels per person. We weren't sure about using the washer and dryer. Also, the pull out couch in the living room does not provide that much support. After three days, my friend had a back ache. All in all we were happy with our stay. Thank you for letting us stay four nights. If we return to the Finger Lakes, we would think about your cottage.
