Modern and Comfortable Townhome

  • 5 of 5

We stayed with another couple and the town home was perfect for 2 couples. The town home was roomy enough to have privacy but still have a cozy feel. Attractive and modern with all amenities. It was a brisk but nice walk into town for shops, restaurants, wineries, and waterfront or there were also several good restaurants nearby. Great place!

We almost gas a disastrous weekend when our accommodations fell through at the last minute, but Amy replied to my desperate pleas almost immediately and put the weekend back on track. Amy, we were so happy to stay in your beautifully built and decorated home. It was the perfect home base for our stay in hood river, and I would recommend this to anyone!

lovely brand new 2 bed 2 bath!!

  • 4 of 5

this townhouse is probably the newest, most modern, 2 bed 2 bath in hood river, vacation home!

with one bedroom and bathroom on the top level, with the living room, dining and kitchen...and the other bedroom and bathroom on the lower level, where the garage and front door is.

lovely kitchen, ample cooking supplies, all you need! just perfect.

only downside.... there is a property at the back of the house, on the side of both bedrooms, that has an air conditioning machine that ran 24/7 (even on chilly days n nites!).... its only about 10ft from the bedrooms, and its really noisy! even with the windows closed, it kept me awake..... next time i bring ear plugs as well as sleeping pills! having said that, my husband and elderly relative who came with us, didnt hear a thing and slept soundly! yes i am a light sleeper, and im woken easily.

the house is a short drive to downtown hood river, on the right....and on the left, a short drive to the nearby safeway, rite aid, good location as a base.
