Great spot to spend some time in the Finger Lakes region!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I recently spent the last week of June 2017 at this property. My wife and I only have positive things to say about the accommodations. It is half of a duplex but we never once really felt like we were sharing the property at all. It is well divided in terms of the entrances and the accommodations/patio on the back of the house. This rental is located in between Skaneateles and Owasco Lake. It backs up to some of the most gorgeous farmland you could imagine. It's really close to both downtown

Auburn and Skaneateles. Mike's place is beautiful both inside and out. Very tasteful and comfortable. Everything worked just great in terms of all the amenities. Great kitchen, comfy beds, nice bathrooms, living/dining and we just loved the outdoor patio with seating/grill/fire pit. Mike took care of any questions we had almost immediately. All kinds of scenic/historic places to visit and places to have fun all within an easy drive. We loved the rural scenery/aspect yet you could be in Syracuse in about 25/30 minutes or at the Lake in 10 minutes. We're already thinking of a return trip next year.

Lovely location, great accommodations.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this property for a few days to attend our son's University graduation. It is a lovely home, and yes it feels like a home, with spectacular views at the back. The house is beautifully and comfortably decorated. We had everything we could possibly need, right down to milk being left for us in the fridge. We arrived very late at night so we were very grateful for that. Mike was easy to contact and very considerate. The house is located so that everything is within easy access. Downtown Skaneateles is close by and the drive to Cornell University was a beautiful easy drive. It is a gorgeous part of the country.

We were very happy with our stay and highly recommend the property. We would not hesitate going back.

Beautiful house - great location - we loved it

  • 5 of 5

The house and the furnishings were really nice, and the kitchen and bathrooms were very clean and well appointed. The view from the back patio was breathtaking, being able to see for miles. The location of the house was ideal for visiting the various towns and wineries in the area, and markets were close by. And having a property manager close by was nice for answering any questions about the house or area. We would stay there again, and would highly recommend it to anyone else.

Gorgeous views, great location, comfortable & relaxing—couldn't have been better!

  • 5 of 5

After years of paying way too much for badly-maintained lakefront properties on Owasco Lake, we decided to try something different this year—close to the lake, but not overlooking the water. We couldn't have been happier. The back of this property looks out over the gorgeous valley between Owasco and Skaneateles lakes. Plenty of room for the kids to roam around, a great fire pit for smores, a swanky gas grill for cooking, a cool pergola—the outside had it all. Inside, the place couldn't have been better appointed. Everything that we needed we found. Beds were comfortable, his-and-her sinks in the master bath, even an electric piano in the living room. The kitchen truly IS a chef's paradise, with everything you could possibly wish for, down to the spice drawer and baking ingredients. I can't speak to the TV, since we didn't turn it on once. Better to just sit outside and watch the stars.

This is a great place for couples, or two couples, or smaller families.

Beautiful area!

  • 5 of 5

We would highly recommend this property to anyone interested in the Finger Lakes region. It is close to Skaneateles, where you can do wine tastings at Anyela's Vineyard and White Birch Vineyards. You can do beer tastings at Finger Lakes on Tap. Skaneateles also has some fine restaurants as does Auburn, such as Oak & Vine.

We were very impressed with the high end amenities. The kitchen was complete in every way imaginable. The area is very serene. We hope to stay here again when we visit our family members that live in the area.

Mike was great to work with, quick to respond to any questions we had.

Wonderful Views of Countryside

  • 5 of 5

The place was great for relaxing and visiting the nearby lakes. Mike was very accommodating and helpful. It is a little hard to find because it is attached to another house, but once we figured it out it was not a problem. Highly recommended.
