3 Story Brick Home on Gulf, 5 Bedrooms, 6 Baths, 2 Kitchens &, 2 Outdoor Showers

This custom built 3 story brick beachfront oasis rests on the private and secluded St. Teresa Beach. St. Teresa is three miles of sprawling sugar sand on one of Florida's 41 aquatic preserves. This is truly one of the few unspoiled remaining hidden gems of Florida's developing Gulf Coast!

The Beach and the Gulf are just steps away directly outside the door of this spacious 3,000 square foot heated and cooled living area which also boasts over 1,100 square feet of outside Beach/Gulf viewing porches and decks.

**1st Floor **

Consist of a Kitchen (complete with range/oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, sink, dishes, utensils, etc.), Family Room with Eating Area, 3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, Washer/Dryer, Outdoor Shower and large Screened in Porch with rocking chairs and ping pong table overlooking Beach/Gulf. The 3 Bedrooms on the First Floor include: (1) Master suite overlooking the Gulf with King Bed and Full Bath,, (2) Bedroom overlooking the Gulf with Queen Bed as well as Daybed with Trundle and Half Bath, and (3) Bedroom with Bunk Bed and Daybed with Trundle. A Full Bath is located next to the Bunk bedroom and the living area with access to outdoor shower. First floor has tile floors, area rugs and all the rooms except the Bunk Bed room have sliding glass doors opening to the 1st floor screened in porch and overlook the beach and Gulf.

**2nd Floor **

The 'Main Living Area' has Brazilian cherry floors, white-washed cathedral ceiling and exhibits an expansive open concept living area overlooking the Gulf with a fully equipped and well stocked (pots, pans, dishes, utilities, etc.) spacious Kitchen, Family Dining Area, Living Room, Half Bath with terracotta sink, large covered Cathedral Porch overlooking the Gulf with teak furnishings for outside viewing and dining. The kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and a large central island with seating for five. The family dining table seats ten guests. The living room area has an oversize bay window with a custom couch and chairs. The second floor has the 4th Bedroom, a Master Suite which overlooks the Gulf with a King Bed, sitting area with couch, Full Bathroom with separate his and her vanities, enclosed toilet area, inside shower as well as a private outside shower with Gulf and Beach views. The open concept living/dining/kitchen area and the master suite all have stunning beach and Gulf front views with sliding glass doors that open directly onto the cathedral porch. There is an outside spiral staircase from the 2nd floor for direct beach access in addition to the inside access..

**3rd Floor **

The third floor includes the 5th Bedroom, overlooks the Gulf with a Queen Bed, a Daybed with Trundle, and a Full bath. This suite opens up to the Outside 3rd Story Deck with majestic views and is perfect for sunning, star gazing. etc.

**Other Great and General Information About This Property**

There is a thermostat on each of the 3 floors for ease in individual climate control settings.

All rooms except Bunk Bedroom have Beach/Gulf Views.

The property has it's own private driveway, large parking area and sits right on St Teresa Beach with private and direct access to the Beach and Gulf

House has Dish Network, Land Telephone Line and Wi-Fi.

The beach has sugar white sand with Tides changing from low to high with gentle waves and no dangerous undertow. Low tide is especially perfect for younger children and provides sandbars for playful activity.

Access to fishing/observation pier extending over the water into the Gulf!

Surf fishing is great so be ready to prepare your catch of the day.

Dolphins swimming off shore are a common sight as are various species of birds. Wildlife viewing is awesome.

Public Golf Course just 6 miles to the west.

About Scott Olson

Three generations of our family have been coming from Tallahassee beginning in the 1940's to enjoy the family property at St Teresa.. Owner's grandparents first built in St Teresa and that house is still enjoyed by our family next door. Owner built advertised listing in 2004. Our family has generations of wonderful memories and invite you to create your own family's memories at this unique, beautiful and private beachfront community.

Notes:
If you are looking for lots of nightlife or outlet malls, this property may not be a fit. St Teresa is more of a destination...just you, a private beach front community and nature.. The beach and Gulf are right outside the door. Carrabelle and Panacea are the closest towns, each about 13 miles to the west and east, respectively. Apalachicola and St George Island are about 35 miles to the west.

In short, it's awesome!

This is our second year for our group of 4 couples to stay at this wonderful home. And we'll almost certainly be back. It's just a great house, wonderful view and beach, and very nice owners. Plenty of room for each couple. Location is unbelievable - basically your own private beach. The sunrise views are incredible from the second story porch. Sit back and soak it all in or take a morning walk on the beach. You won't regret it. We highly recommend it!!

Perfect location for what our family needed

The house was perfect for the amount of people we had (8). Due to the family dynamics and age of the grandkids (early 20’s), we had to spread out a bit. Everyone had privacy when wanted, two family rooms allowed for space, two kitchens for extra storage of food and drinks. We did not want the touristy atmosphere on this trip and this place did not fail. If you’re looking for parasailing and tiki bars with obnoxious music and the nightlife, this isn’t for you. If you’re looking for spectacular seafood and quiet beauty with dolphins in the backdrop, then this is it.

Heaven on Earth!

My husband and I, along with our 8 children really enjoyed staying in this stunning home at such a gorgeous location. This was the first time our family has visited the gulf so we had multiple questions from the wildlife to local clinics should the need arise. Ann was quick with responses and answered every question we had which gave us such a peace of mind. We felt immediately "at home" as soon as we entered the house. The pictures do not do the home justice and there was more than plenty of room for all of us. We enjoyed meals together in the upstairs kitchen as well as on the deck off of the kitchen. I enjoyed my morning coffee watching the sunrise from the deck. We spent a lot of time just taking in the stunning views. There was a gorgeous view from each of the beach side rooms, which is all except 1 room. Twice daily we'd watch the dolphins swim by from either on the beach or on the upstairs deck, it was such a treat! We really enjoyed the outdoor showers to wash the kids down-what a fabulous idea to get the sand off! The beds were comfortable, the house was fully stocked with plenty of towels, dishes, and appliances. We enjoyed the ping pong table inside the screened porch, and we all got a kick out of using the kayak! The children had never kayaked before so it was a first that they will always remember. The beach was amazing and we spent hours each night searching the tide pools! The sand was so white that my 5yo kept telling us we had "sugar" on us! We found crabs, sting rays, tons of fish, sand dollars, oysters, and sea cucumbers. It was a fascinating experience for all of us! We truly enjoyed the secluded feel and knowing we did not have to camp out for sand space, we at most saw about 10-15 other people a day! The beach and water were beautiful to experience, but I really cannot say enough about the home and hospitality Scott and Ann provided. We would love to come and stay again, thank you so much for sharing your home with us! ~Cheryl

Breathtaking!

My family and another shared this home for a week and we all agreed this is one of the best vacations we have been on. There were 10 of us, 4 adults and 6 children. The house had plenty of room for all of us and the beach was amazing. We cannot believe the privacy we had. I feel like I have been spoiled and cannot return to a public beach again! We were able to see dolphins everyday and quite a few even got close! Wonderful variety and amount of wildlife. Enjoyable for all ages. The water and the beach along with the house made for an amazing getaway! Scott and his assistant Ann were great to work with and answered all questions promptly. They gave us tips and truly wanted us to have a great stay. Hoping to book again next summer and cannot wait. Thank you for sharing your beach home with us!

A great family or group vacation site.

This was our second visit to this property. We were drawn back by the beautiful private beach, the spaces in the house where we could cook and all eat together around the huge DR table, the spectacular views from the house and porches or decks on all three levels and ease of working with Scott and his assistant, Ann. They very quickly responded to any concern we had and worked to make sure our stay was all we expected. The house and property are very well maintained. Scott was around several times during the week because he was renovating a property next door. Although Ann usually called to tell us Scott would be there, on one occasion, he entered the house unannounced through one of the sliding glass doors. I understand he owns the property, but for any week the property is rented, the renter assumes he's paid for privacy 24/7, unless he's violating the rental agreement. This issue is the only issue that keeps me from giving the property a 5 star rating. I would definitely recommend this property for a large group planning a beach vacation if what you are looking for is lots of opportunity for privacy, relaxation and being together as much or as little as you want.

Owner's Response: I need to clarify that the reason I was at the house was to resolve a maintenance issue. I had paid several thousand dollars a few days earlier for an upgrade to the water purification system on the well pump but discovered there was a problem with a timer on the system. As owner, I go out of my way to be respectful of my guests' privacy and would never just pop in for no good reason and certainly do not enter the house when occupied without knocking (6 of the 8 doors leading to the outside of the house are sliding glass doors and I always knock). It was my responsibility to make sure the well was working properly and I feel it is unfair to consider my monitoring of this issue to be an invasion of privacy. My goal is to make sure all guests have a wonderful and memorable experience here at St Teresa and that everything at the house is functioning properly. I'm thrilled that I can share my little slice of heaven with others.
