Todd and I are both Natives to Grand Junction. We are in love with the Valley itself and National Monument, they have so much to offer. From running and mountain biking trails, to mountaineering and rock climbing, horseback riding and white water rafting/kayaking, to amazing golf courses.
Alexi Vaughn purchased this house in 2014
This property is special because it is located at the base of the National Monument with 360 degree views. Newly remodeled and very cozy. The location is very peaceful, quiet and safe. Yet, you are minutes away from amazing wineries, shopping and restaurants.
The view are very unique as well. You also have the ability to experience epic runs or rides from the front door on either your road or mountain bike.
Wonderful home in Grand Junction - we will be back! Terrific home owners that communicate beautifully and support the entire process - 5 stars!!!
This is a half renovated home in a beautiful setting. What wasn't renovated, is very outdated...swamp coolers didn't do the job, no cable, carpets smell like a litter box. There is a garage next to the house...that evidently somebody lives in. The owner was very nice and wanted to be accommodating, however at that price point, I shouldn't need to hear from the owner. Plenty of other good options in GJ that we'll be using for our next trip.
our group of 8 fit very comfortably in this home. this was our third trip to the GJ area and this was definitely the best home we've stayed in.
Our family had such a great time on our vacation in Grand Junction. The house was perfect for us...plenty of room to spread out....quiet spaces and not so quiet spaces for kids and adults alike, beautiful scenery from every spot in the house, well equipped for what we needed.
In addition Alexi and Todd were very easy to work with and made sure that we had everything we needed.
The location made it easy to get to shopping and also close to Colorado Monument.
I hope that we will be able to stay there again very soon!
We needed a place to meet last minute for an improvised birthday celebration, this was just the spot and the location/setting was breathtaking. The house was perfect for our large group of ten, minutes from many wineries and great hospitality from the host. My wife has MS and has trouble with stairs so the owner bought a bed and placed it on the main floor for her to use, we wanted to grill so the owner bought a new grill for use to use; They went far beyond what is required to make their guests comfortable. I would go back anytime!
