About the owner: I am originally from a small east Texas town of San Augustine. I was raised on a ranch and was a barrel racer by the age of 9. I have a great appreciation for all animals and anything outdoors. I was a high school history and psychology teacher. I quit teaching and became a serial entrepreneur. I have been self employed for most of my adult life. It seems that I really like to sell things ( it makes me high). Some of my businesses consisted of selling imprinted sportswear to schools as well as hand painted wall murals. For the last five years, I have taught onsite CPR and First Aid to company employees and schools. I now live in Galveston, Texas and enjoy entertaining and the beauty of the Gulf Coast. My mantra for life is 'you reap what you sow' and 'don't sweat the small stuff'.
Why the Owner Chose Montrose, Houston, TX, USA:
This property is in a beautiful upscale neighborhood with tree lined streets in the heart of Montrose near downtown Houston. It is artsy and hip in every way. The architecture is 1920s red brick mixed with the current new styles of urban structures. So many attractions are in walking distance such as restaurants, wine bars, coffee bars ,bakeries, antique shopping, and Allen Parkway ( a beautiful park for walking, running, biking, and dog walking). Theaters and Museums are literally 5 minuets away. The neighborhood is quiet with many long time residents walking their dogs in early mornings and late afternoon. The location of this property is so wonderful because you are always driving against the traffic and you can jump on every freeway in minuets.
