Plenty of seating areas, there is a full kitchen (stocked with most everything you need to cook!) with a cozy breakfast nook, and a washer and dryer. The deck and backyard makes for a great get away after a day of watching the races at Keeneland. Friendly horses live in a paddock adjacent to the backyard to make this a true Kentucky experience!

It is also only minutes from Downtown Lexington, historic Midway, and convenient to any location in Central Kentucky.

What makes this farmhouse unique

You won't find a prettier view in all of Central Kentucky. Enjoy the view, the Kentucky farm charm, and be in downtown in minutes.

Guestbook comments from the owner

The cottage was a beautiful place to stay. The home is spacious, the view is outstanding, and the location couldn't be any better. You wont find any place like this. I couldn't believe that I could stand on the back porch and see racing royalty. This home is a gem and we can't wait to come back. It was so convenient for our time in central kentucky.

Quiet and cozy in the hills of Kentucky.

Very comfortable accommodations set on a beautiful lot in Kentucky farm country. Close to Lexington, yet out in the countryside. The best of both worlds!

Beautiful, great views. Basicslly the house was in good repair and comfortable

  • 4 of 5

Great overall experience. Felt like "home" right away. We enjoyed our stay. We found the following upon arrival:

The blind in the mudroom fell down due to the mounting brackets being too far apart. We could not use the blind.

The left middle railing on the deck is not attached on the left end.

The blind adjust rod on the left side of the bed in the front bedroom is broken.

These were minor issues as far as our stay was concerned.

Thanks you for making such a great place available.

We will try to stay there again.

Owner's Response: John, I am glad you enjoyed your stay in the cottage. It seemed like your family had a great time. As we strive for a 5 star experience, I'm sadden that those three little minor details caused you not to have a 5 star experience at the cottage. As with anything, I wished you would have mentioned these things in one of the many times we communicated while you were at the property so we could have made it right with under a minute of your time. These issues have been addressed and fixed. I'm glad you enjoyed our scenic views, situated in the middle of horse country. Ashley

Gorgeous Views

Wonderful location to stay at while in Lexington. The house was clean and well supplied with everything that we needed for the week. The views are amazing! This was a much better choice than a hotel.

A perfect place to capture the horses

  • 5 of 5

It was perfect! Lots of room and quite cozy. We love lexington, and it was such a gift to be in the middle of everything horses and yet close to town and Keeneland. Nicely appointed rooms and an even better back deck overlooking a few paddocks. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Amazing Location! Beautiful Views!

  • 5 of 5

I loved my stay at this cottage. Surrounded by horse farms and right around the corner from keeneland, what more could you ask for? It is a great location with tons of room in the house. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of things to help when we decided to cook. The host was helpful and had tons of brochures and suggestions for us to do while in central kentucky. We spent some time at local horse farms, the Kentucky horse park, and bourbon tours as well. It was great to come "home" and relax at the house. I will definitely be back again!
